Hello Music lovers,

Ananda Shankar is an Indian musician who has played with many of the greats from the late 60s and early 70s, such as Jimi Hendrix. His uncle was also a popular sitarist in his own right, but Shankar really made a name for himself by playing contemporary western songs like Light My Fire and Jumpin Jack Flash.

His self titled debut album featured this cover and several originals that featured a strong western influence and unmistakable sound of his sitar. This one is my favorite cover and I hope it inspires you of faraway peaceful lands! Dont forget to rate the video with the little arrows below the video player if you like it :)

Pleasant Watching,

The Rolling Stones Jumpin Jack Flash already sounded like an anthem of the 60s, but this sitar cover makes it sound even more so!
