'The Adjustment Bureau' DVD

Matt Damon and Emily Blunt are paired in this sci-fi romance based loosely on Philip K. Dick's short story "Adjustment Team." David Norris (Damon) is a rising politician when a photo from his past abruptly ends his political career. He meets a dancer named Elise (Blunt), and after a period of separation, he reencounters her. But some mysterious men wearing suits and fedoras turn up and interfere with his life. David and Elise fall for each other, but the men in hats persistently take action to try to keep them apart. The question is whether David and Elise will be able to figure out a way to be together.

'The Eagle' DVD

Channing Tatum and Jamie Bell star in this action-adventure film based on Rosemary Sutcliff's 1954 young-adult novel. The tale concerns the Ninth Legion, a real-life 5000-man unit of Roman soldiers that seemingly disappeared, perhaps in 2nd-century northern Britain (present-day Scotland). In the movie, the hero is Marcus Aquila (Tatum), a Roman soldier whose father carried the standard - a statuette of an eagle - for the Ninth. But the Ninth was destroyed 20 years earlier in northern Britain, and Marcus, accompanied by his Celtic slave Esca (Bell), go on a quest to recover the eagle.
