'Easy A' DVD

Emma Stone stars in this witty, critically acclaimed comedy.
The setting is the Southern California town of Ojai, where
the protagonist Olive Penderghast (Stone) is a high school
student. After a dull weekend, Olive makes up a story about
how she had sex with a college guy. She tells the story to a
gal pal, and it goes viral via texting and Twitter. Olive
pretends the story is true, and she first uses her slut
status to help out a gay boy, then nerds pay her money to
allow them to claim they have had sex with her. Also in the
cast are Stanley Tucci, Patricia Clarkson and Thomas Haden

'Salt' DVD

Angelina Jolie stars as Evelyn Salt in this slick, action-
oriented spy thriller directed by Phillip Noyce (Patriot
Games, Rabbit-Proof Fence). Salt is first shown being beaten
in a North Korean prison. But she gets out of that predica-
ment, marries a spider expert, and is working for the CIA
in the D.C. area when one evening she has to deal with a
Russian defector. He claims she is working for the Russians,
having been planted by the Soviets years earlier as a sleeper
agent. She quickly sets out to New York, possibly to carry
out an assassination. Also in the cast are Liev Schreiber
and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps' DVD

Oliver Stone directed this sequel to his 1987 film Wall
Street, and Michael Douglas returns as Gordon Gekko. But the
main character is young investment banker Jake Moore (Shia
LaBeouf), who lives with Gekko's estranged daughter (Carey
Mulligan). This time around, the story takes place mainly
in 2008 during the worldwide financial crisis. Gekko is now
a bestselling author after having done an eight-year stint
in prison. Another key character is Bretton James (Josh
Brolin), a villainous investment banker. Also in the movie
are Frank Langella, Susan Sarandon and Eli Wallach.
