Lawrence, the manager of Rue McClanahan, released a
statement that=
the beloved actress has passed away at the age
of 76. The cause of=
death was cited as due to a stroke at
approximately 1am on Thursday,=
June 3, 2010.

Rue had been dealing with various health issue=
on and off for
better than a decade, but true to her feisty nature=
had fought
through it all until the final straw snapped.
