John 16:32-33

Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will
be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone.
And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have
peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of
good cheer, I have overcome the world.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

Many readers have been confused about what is happening
along the gulf of Mexico. "How can a loving God allow
such things to happen?"

Although I cannot pretend to have all of the answers, I
have prayed that the Holy Spirit lead me in providing
some scriptures that may help those who are suffering.

God Bless You!

--FEATURED POEM:

On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,
The emblem of suff'ring and shame;
And I love that old cross where the dearest and best
For a world of lost sinners was slain.
So I'll cherish the old rugged cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
And exchange it some day for a crown.

George Bennard

--ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. What was the first supernatural act of Moses and
Aaron which the Egyptian magicians couldn't imitate?

A. Producing lice.

Now the magicians so worked with their enchantments to
bring forth Lice, but they could not. So there were Lice
on man and beast. Then the magicians said to Pharaoh,
"This is the finger of God." But Pharaoh's heart grew
hard, and he did not heed them, just as the LORD had said.

Exodus 8:18-19
