John 10:7-10,

Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

Although Jesus was speaking (in the above passage) to the Jews, He, never-the-less said, "if anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture." That means that it applies to you and me, too. Do enter the sheepfold through Jesus. Remember that John 14:6 tells us that He is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him.

God Bless You!

--TODAY'S DAILY NOT SO TRIVIAL TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. On Friday we saw that Jesus rebukes and chastens those He loves. In Revelation 3:19, after He tells us this He also tells us to do something. What does He tell us therefore to do?

Answer below.

--TODAY'S BIT OF WISDOM/REFLECTION:

Write Your blessed Name, O Lord, upon my heart, there to remain so indelibly engraved, that no prosperity, no adversity shall ever move me from Your love. Be to me a strong tower of defense, a comforter in tribulation, a deliverer in distress, a very present help in trouble, and a guide to heaven through the many temptations and dangers of this life.

--Thomas a Kempis

--FEATURED POEM:

Lord, I would bless you for your ceaseless care,
And all your work from day to day declare!
Is not my life with hourly mercies crowned?
Does not your arm encircle me around?
