Today's Random Fact:

In the seventh month of fetal life the adrenal glands,
located just above the kidneys, are about the same size
as the kidneys. At birth they are slightly smaller, and
they continue to shrink throughout life. By the time a
person reaches old age, the adrenals are so small they
can hardly be seen.

Bonus Fact:

The average adult has around 10 pints (1.25 gal) of blood in
their body. The Ketchua Indians of the Andes Mountains in
South America have two to three more quarts of blood in their
bodies than people who live at lower elevations.
