Matthew 12:34

Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things?

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

Jesus was speaking to the Pharisees. Was He loving them? God is love, and Jesus shows us God's love. Love can get angry and speak the truth, even if it does not give the listener the warm fuzzes. Sometimes love holds up a mirror, even if the reflection is ugly, as is the case with the Pharisees. Love is not always gooey and sentimental.

God Bless You!

--FEATURED POEM:

O what a wonderful, wonderful day
Day I will never forget;
After I'd wandered in darkness away,
Jesus my Savior I met.
O what a tender, compassionate friend
He met the need of my heart;
Shadows dispelling,
With joy I am telling,
He made all the darkness depart!
Heaven came down and glory filled my soul,
When at the cross the Savior made me whole;
My sins were washed away
And my night was turned to day.
