September 1, 2011Hello Everyone,Make a list of jobs you can do in 15 minutes or less. These
jobs can be single chores or a portion of a larger job. The
idea of doing this is that you're more likely to find
yourself with an extra 15 minutes than an extra day or even a couple of hours. When you do have a bit of time, get out your list and choose a job. You'll make steady progress this way and feel good about getting a start on some of the projects that seem overwhelming to you.
Handy Hints Holly Email Holly Visit The Archives p.s. don't forget to send in your questions and hints so I can feature them. Next week it's all about the readers :)Hint 1: I haven't tried this hint, but am looking forward to trying it in the next few weeks. The aroma of mint and basil while eating on a summer night sounds terrific.
When you are having dinner outdoors, set out vases filled
with mint and basil down in the middle of the table. Flies
dislike the odor and will seek to disturb another family.
Hint 2: I don't grind coffee grounds (because I'm not a coffee drinker), but a friend of mine does for her boyfriend. She swears by this hint...
Do you grind your own coffee grounds? If so, once a month run uncooked rice through your grinder. The rice helps remove built-up oils and pieces of beans!
