Kim Kardashian attacked by elephant while taking selfie in Thailand

Kim Kardashian was interrupted by an elephant while trying to take a selfie next to it in Thailand. The 33-year-old reality star was all smiles as she posed next to a local elephant during a family trip to Southeast Asia, but Kardashian lost her poker face and ran away after the mammoth blew air out of its trunk into her hair. Kanye West's fiancée was wearing a black bikini and a matching robe during the excursion alongside her mother, Kris Jenner. Kardashian and her sisters have been posting pictures of themselves in tiny bikinis since flying out for the tropical vacation on Wednesday. The Kadashian/Jenner clan is currently on on a mid-season break from their reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The reality series will return to the small screen June 6. Kardashian has not yet shared any photos with the attacking elephant on social media.



Anderson Cooper says he won't inherit a dime from mom Gloria Vanderbilt

Anderson Cooper says he is well aware that he won't inherit a dime from his mother, Gloria Vanderbilt. The CNN host spoke to Howard Stern on Stern's radio program Monday, and Cooper said his lack of inheritance is something he acknowledges and even embraces. "My mom's made clear to me that there's no trust fund," he told Stern. "There's none of that." "I don't believe in inheriting money," Cooper continued. "I think it's an initiative sucker. I think it's a curse." "Who's inherited money that has gone on to do things in their own life?" he asked. "From the time I was growing up, if I felt that there was some pot of gold waiting for me, I don't know that I would've been so motivated." The news host went on to say that his mother is the "coolest person" he knows. The 90-year-old Gloria Vanderbilt is reportedly worth $200 million. She herself inherited millions of dollars from her father Reginald Vanderbilt, but went on to make her own fortune in the fashion design industry.

'How I Met Your Mother' comes to a close after 9 seasons

Hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother came to an end on Monday night after a nine-season, 208-episode run.

The finale provided many answers for fans -- the most important, of course, being the full story behind the show's mysterious Mother. The final episode unveiled that the Mother's real name is Tracy McConnell, and that yes, she has passed away by the "present time" in 2030, when Ted tells the story. Cristin Milioti, who portrays the Mother, had called the suggestion of her death "insane" and "crazy," but fan theories proved true last night when it was revealed the Mother has been gone for six years. The confirmation of the Mother's passing could have ended the show on an expected but tragic note, but HIMYM chose to continue its focus on love. "No. I don't buy it. That's not the reason you made us listen to this," Ted's daughter Penny says at the end of the story. "This is a story about how you're totally in love with Aunt Robin and you're thinking about asking her out and you want to know if we're okay with it."

Ted's children Penny and Luke give him their blessing, and the show ends as Ted arrives at Robin's apartment, blue french horn in hand.


Anna Kournikova still hasn't met boyfriend Enrique Iglesias' dad after 12 years of dating

Tennis star Anna Kournikova and singer Enrique Iglesias have been dating for over twelve years ... and she still hasn't met his father, Julio Iglesias. "You know I have to tell the truth, I have never met Anna," the 70-year-old Julio tells The Mirror. "Yes, my wife and my kids and his brothers have, but I have never met her, no, no, never." "My kids are very independent and it is difficult to see Enrique because he is all over the world," the Spanish star continues. "But Anna is very beautiful -- they have good taste, my kids."
Julio says that he is "very proud" of his son's accomplishments and that Enrique "is a super guy." The legendary singer acknowledges that "it's not as easy to follow in the same steps as ... the father," but says that he considers his son "in the same class" as Michael Douglas and Liza Minnelli. Douglas followed in the footsteps of his famous actor father, Kirk Douglas, and Minnelli pursued singing and acting like mother Judy Garland. "[Enrique's] music is very different to mine and he has gone his own way ... He is doing very well," the elder Iglesias says. Enrique and Anna Kournikova started dating in late 2001, and she appeared as his lover in his music video for "Escape" soon after. Rumors that the pair had split began in late 2013, but the couple is currently still together.

Enrique released his tenth studio album, Sex and Love, in mid-March. Dad Julio will release his own new album, 1: The Collection, on May 12.
