Dear friends, Today marks an important date in American history. On this date in 1920, women's suffrage finally became law.
First, we offer you a look back at this historical day and the events that lead up to the ratifying of the Nineteenth Amendment. Celebrate the strength and the perseverance shown by the great women of this nation.
Then, in the Bonus Clip, look at how far we have fallen, in less than 100 years, when a student sees just how many of his fellow female students will sign a petition to put an end to women's suffrage. Looks like these kids need to pay more attention in history class and brush up on the Constitution.
