Dear friends,

Monday is the 67th anniversary of D-Day. To commemorate the Normandy Invasion, one of the most historic events during the Second World War, I have selected for you two clips that feature the intensity, bravery and the sheer chaos that was shown and experienced on that fateful day.

First, learn about what allied soldiers had to face on the beaches that day. Then, watch a scene from Director Steven Spielberg's Academy Award Winning Film, "Saving Private Ryan". Witness the horror and sacrifice that our allied soldiers endured on the 6th of June, 1944.
