I've really been getting back into baseball this summer.

So, in honor of America's pastime let's take a look back at a pair of legendary ballplayers.

Learn about Mr. Cub, Ernie Banks, and his extraordinary career with the Chicago Cubs.

Ernie Banks signed with the Chicago Cubs in 1953, and was the first African American player for that organization. He played his whole career with the Cubbies.

Legends Of Baseball - Lou Gehrig
Lou Gehrig played for the Yankees, and was known as 'The Iron Horse' for his durability. He played in 2,130 consecutive games but the streak was broken when he got neuromuscular disease which claimed his life 2 years later.
