Dear friends,

There was never a better host of The Tonight Show than Johnny Carson. He was funny, charismatic, smart, genuine, entertaining, but the thing that I always admired Johnny for his unique ability to recognize those special moments and then going with them and getting every laugh out of them that he possibly could.

Watch these two fantastic clips that feature what Johnny Carson and the Tonight Show were all about. First, it's the Famous Tomahawk Toss bit that had everybody laughing. Then, enjoy Dean Martin's antics as he crashes the show. They don't make 'em like this anymore.

Oh, I really miss those days.
