Proverbs 3:13-15

Happy is the man who finds wisdom,
And the man who gains understanding;
For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver,
And her gain than fine gold.
She is more precious than rubies...

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

I thought that it made sense to include yesterday's scripture with today's, as it is all part of the same thought!

In today's world, many strive for proceeds and profits, (financially, that is). How many of you genuinely believe that wisdom and understanding produce proceeds better than the profits of silver, or gain better than fine gold? You may think, "yeah, I believe that!" Let me ask you this, than. What do you put more time and effort into--gaining wisdom and understanding, or achieving financial gain?

God Bless You!

Be Thou My Vision

Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son,
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

--ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. In an early introduction to David, how does he describe God?

A. The God that is alive

1 Samuel 17:26

Then David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, "What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?"
