Here's the Scoop...

28.5M tune in for Grammy Awards show

About 28.5 million viewers in the United States tuned in for Sunday night's Grammy Awards ceremony, CBS announced Monday. Last year's edition of the event, which honors the best in music, was seen by 28.4 million. Daft Punk's "Random Access Memories" was named Best Album of 2013 during Sunday's ceremony. The show also featured memorable performances by former Beatles band mates Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney and married superstars Beyonce and Jay Z. Another highlight of the evening was when Queen Latifah officiated the weddings of 33 couples in the audience, while Macklemore & Ryan Lewis sang their hit, "Same Love," which Madonna joined mid-song.

Heidi Klum and bodyguard beau break up

Fashion model Heidi Klum has ended her year-plus romance with bodyguard Martin Kirsten, UsMagazine.com reported. "He is no longer working with her or her family," an insider told the publication Monday. Klum, 40, first confirmed her relationship with Kirsten in September 2012, shortly after she filed for divorce from her husband, singer Seal, after nearly seven years of marriage. Klum's divorce from Seal, 50, has not yet been finalized.

Tarantino sues Gawker over leaked script

Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino has filed a copyright lawsuit against Gawker Media, the Hollywood Reporter said. The suit accuses Gawker Media of disseminating copies of Tarantino's unproduced screenplay, "The Hateful Eight." Tarantino told Deadline.com last week he planned to make the western his next project, then decided not to make the movie after someone made copies of the script and distributed it through Hollywood. He said one of the six people he trusted with the script had let someone else see it. After the story of the leak broke, Gawker's Defamer website posted a link to the 146-page script under the heading, "?Here Is the Leaked Quentin Tarantino Hateful Eight Script." "Gawker Media has made a business of predatory journalism, violating people's rights to make a buck," the Hollywood Reporter quoted Tarantino's lawsuit as saying. "This time, they went too far. Rather than merely publishing a news story reporting that plaintiff's screenplay may have been circulating in hollywood without his permission, Gawker Media crossed the journalistic line by promoting itself to the public as the first source to read the entire screenplay illegally."
Gawker's representative told THR the company hasn't received the lawsuit yet.

Elizabeth Banks to direct 'Pitch Perfect 2'

Elizabeth Banks is to make her directorial debut with the sequel to the hit 2012 musical comedy, "Pitch Perfect," Universal Pictures announced. "Elizabeth originated the idea for 'Pitch Perfect' and was instrumental in making the first film such a huge success," studio chairman Donna Langley said in a statement Monday. "She brings an enormous amount of energy and experience to everything she works on and we're thrilled that she is making her feature directorial debut on 'Pitch Perfect 2.'" Banks co-starred and produced the original film, and will do both again in the sequel, EW.com said. No other casting has been announced yet. The Hollywood Reporter said Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson are likely to return for the second installment.

It's Billy Joel!

Billy Joel says he is un-retiring at 64

Rocker Billy Joel told CBS News his residency at New York's Madison Square Garden means he is "kind of unretiring" as he prepares to turn 65 in May. The Long Island resident, who released his last rock 'n' roll album "River of Dreams" in 1993, said the idea of a monthly gig at the famed Manhattan venue is appealing to him at this stage of his life.
"So I go: 'Wait a minute, that's nice. That's one place I don't have to schlep to. I can commute to it from where I live.' And we love the Garden," he said. "As long as there's a ticket demand and as long as I'm physically capable of doing it. I'm gonna be 65 years old. Most people retire at 65. I'm kind of unretiring."
