Here's the Scoop...

Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week? At 53 I've only started to host it at my house. This will be the 3rd year in a row!

I have to admit one thing... I don't do the cooking! My sister-in-law does it all. It's just my house is more open and easier to fit a bunch of people all together.

Luckily she lives next door. She's like a mad scientest during the day... cooking at her house, cooking at my house.

I think this year I will attempt to cook a few things. One thing I am a master at is clean up!

Let's get to the nooz.

Be Well,
Anisa

David Hasselhoff Announces Name Change...
David Hasselhoff says he's sick of his name.

The former Baywatch star announced he has changed his name to David Hoff over social media Thursday.

"I've been wanting to drop the Hassel from my life for years," he said in a brief YouTube video. "Now, I have made it official: David Hoff," he adds, holding up a framed certificate. The celebrity effectively changed his listed names on Twitter, YouTube and Facebook.

"So many people think my life is all TV shows, musicals and Hollywood," he wrote on his official Facebook page. "But that's not true. I've got my share of hassles too. Now I'm taking matters into my own hands and making a change. Officially."

Whether the name change is actually official has not been confirmed by anyone aside from the Kung Fury actor, however, Hasselhoff appears to be serious about the change.

"Big news today and a massive relief for me," he wrote on Twitter. "I hope everyone can understand...it feels great!"

LOOSE LIPS:
"Someone once said to me, 'But your life ... it's so sad.' And I was like, 'Well, no, it's not to me, but I could see how you would think that.' My life is amazing." - Drew Barrymore, saying that she's had "the weirdest life ever"

Rebel Wilson Accuses Kardashian Rep Of 'smear campaign'...
Rebel Wilson says the Kardashians are running a smear campaign against her because of her unflattering remarks about the family.

The 35-year-old Australian actress accused the reality stars' rep of such Wednesday on Twitter, one week after she criticized Kim Kardashian and the Kardashian-Jenner clan in an interview.

"I'd be very happy to debate the Kardashians anywhere/anytime/any topic," Wilson wrote. "Or maybe their publicist can just stop the smear campaign against me because I made one prompted comment about them on Australian radio?"

"In any event, I'm MORE than over this little thing and wish the K clan well," she added. "Even sent them flowers."

Wilson had told Kyle and Jackie O the Kardashians are "not famous for talent," and that the family stands for everything she's against. Her comments caused Oprah Winfrey to defend the stars as hard workers who are not simply famous for being famous.

The actress is known for playing Fat Amy in the Pitch Perfect movies, and will return for Pitch Perfect 3 with Anna Kendrick. She is also slated for How to Be Single with Dakota Johnson and The Brothers Grimsby with Sacha Baron Cohen.

Judge Uses Taylor Swift's Lyrics To Dismiss Copyright Lawsuit...
Taylor Swift fans know that the pop star has a long list of hit singles that include quirky lyrics that are fun to reiterate on social media or with friends.

But never in their wildest dreams did they think the hailed songwriter would be on the receiving end of a copyright lawsuit for one of them.

Even the Grammy award-winning artist may not have known trouble would come walking in when she released her hit "Shake It Off" in 2014.

In October TMZ reported that a small-time R&B singer, Jesse Braham, was suing Swift for $42 million in damages and writing credit over the lyrics "haters gonna hate" in her leading tune from her 1989 album.

Braham claimed that Swift stole the phrase from his 2013 song "Haters gone Hate," which he says he copyrighted back in February.

However, a California U.S. District Court Judge wasn't buying it and dismissed the copyright lawsuit on Nov. 10.

Judge Gail Standish even quoted some of Swift's own lyrics to draft her dismissal, writing: "At present, the Court is not saying that Braham can never, ever, ever get his case back in court. But, for now, we have got problems, and the Court is not sure Braham can solve them."

Later she states: "As currently drafted, the Complaint has a blank space - one that requires Braham to do more than write his name. And, upon consideration of the Court's explanation ... Braham may discover that mere pleading BandAids will not fix the bullet holes in his case. At least for the moment, Defendants have shaken off this lawsuit."

Fans noted that the judge used lines from Swift's "Blank Space", "We Are Never Getting Back Together," "Bad Blood" and "Shake It Off" to help make her point.

??? Guess Who ???

The actress who says she panhandled in NYC for preperation for her latest role?

It's Jennifer Connelly... Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Connelly says she tried her hand at panhandling in New York City while playing a homeless woman in the film Shelter.

Connelly, 44, spoke about her experiences during a recent visit to Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

"There is a sequence at the beginning of the film where I am in Astor Place," Connelly recalled.

"We got there very early in the morning and I kind of set up my thing. The crew was across the street with a long lens and I just sort of did my thing there and people were... I don't know if I am allowed to say this. I'm not sure if we were allowed to do this, actually, but that's what we did. So, I was out there with a sign and, yeah, people were coming up."

The story prompted Colbert to ask if any of the people she encountered recognized her -- a beautiful actress whose career has spanned more than 30 years -- despite her disheveled appearance.

"Some people, after a while, but not for a long time," Connelly replied.

She then revealed how moved she was when one woman saw her sign, which said, "I used to be someone," and assured her, "You're still someone."

"It was lovely and I felt like a creep because... Do I take the money? Do I say...?" Connelly cringed.

"Did you feel like you were lying?" Colbert wanted to know.

"Yeah," Connelly confessed.

"But acting is all lying," Colbert playfully reminded the actress, who was smiling. "You're going to take her 12 bucks this weekend when she goes to see [the movie!]"
