Here's the Scoop...
I was sad to hear that actor Alex Rocco passed away at age 79. He was great in The Godfather and I just saw him on Showtime's Episodes with Matt LeBlanc. He was such a wonderful actor. After looking at his IMDB page I still can't believe I forgot about all of the solid work he put out. Character actors don't get any better.
"Do you know who I am?" We sure do. And we always will.

'Trainwreck' may be catalyst for Amy Schumer's film career
Amy Schumer's screenwriting debut Trainwreck may be what puts her on the A-list, critics said after the film released over the weekend.
According to BoxOffice.com's vice president and chief analyst, Trainwreck marks the "birth of a new film star" in the romantic comedy's protagonist. "She's going to get tons of offers," he said. "This puts her in the same realm as Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig."
Schumer's raunchy comedy, directed by This is 40's Judd Apatow and starring Bill Hader, Brie Larson, Colin Quinn and even LeBron James, came in third at the box office over the weekend hauling over $30 million. Variety observes that Trainwreck's opening weekend made more than Bridesmaids, Spy and The 40-Year-Old Virgin although those three were lead by pre-existing A-listers.
As of Monday, Trainwreck has an 85 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The Atlantic's Christopher Orr predicts that the flick will propel Schumer "from cult icon to mass phenomenon."
"Schumer will almost certainly have many opportunities to deploy her edgy wit toward edgier ends," Orr concludes. "I can hardly wait."

Heather Mills has 'nothing nice to say' about ex Paul McCartney
Heather Mills said her and ex-husband Paul McCartney's daughter Beatrice has "the best of both of us," in a new interview.
However, the 47-year-old businesswoman and environmentalist wouldn't go as far to say anything nice about her second husband to the Guardian, mostly because she simply had nothing nice to say.
"Considering what went on, the one thing I'm most proud of is I never lowered myself to the level that some parents do where they speak badly about the other parent and it's made my child a very healthy, very happy, very open person," Mills said of her daughter, "which she would have been whatever happened in her life because that's who she is genetically."
Mills married McCartney in 2002 "for love," divorcing six years later. Their daughter, Beatrice, was born in 2003.
"Beatrice says she's 99 percent me," Mills told the British news outlet. "I don't know if that's a good thing. I think she's got the best of both of us, we're both very musical."
Mills revealed that she teaches her daughter the saxophone "because her father can't read music," but admits she received her natural poetry skills from her father. "I think she's got the best of both of us," she repeated.
Calvin Harris 'insanely happy' with girlfriend Taylor Swift
Calvin Harris gushed about girlfriend Taylor Swift in a new interview Friday.
The 31-year-old Scottish DJ discussed the 25-year-old American singer with Kiss Breakfast on U.K. radio station Kiss FM. Harris and Swift have been dating since the spring, and the EDM producer said he couldn't be happier with the pop star.
"It's going absolutely fantastic," he said. "It's interesting, because obviously there's a different thing written about it every day ... For me, [the public scrutiny] could be a lot worse and I'd still be, like, insanely happy with her. So, I'm good with it."
Harris dismissed rumors he and Swift plan on getting engaged, and said he isn't sure the pair will ever collaborate musically. The DJ reportedly praised the singer to Hits Radio U.K. the same day, saying, "It's boxes I didn't even know existed, she ticks."
Harris and Swift were first linked in late March, and spotted holding hands the next week. The couple have gone increasingly public with their relationship, and are openly seen out and about, in addition to posts on social media.
Harris released his fourth studio album, Motion, in October 2014, and debuted new single "How Deep is Your Love" on Friday. Swift released her fifth record, 1989, the same month, and is currently on the North American leg of her accompanying tour.
