Gwyneth Paltrow Explains 'conscious uncoupling'...
Gwyneth Paltrow was surprised by public reaction to her use of "conscious uncoupling" to describe her split from husband Chris Martin.

The 42-year-old actress explained the term in an interview with The Howard Stern Show on Wednesday. Paltrow and the 37-year-old singer raised eyebrows when they announced they would "consciously uncouple" in March 2014, but the star said the phrase means more than a separation.

"[It's] a philosophy," she told host Howard Stern. "It's a very noble idea, and it's a great thing, I think, to try to do for your kids. And it's working, but it is kind of a goofy term and I didn't know it was going to cause such a big thing."

Paltrow revealed the term comes from philosopher Dr. Habib Sadeghi and his wife, Dr. Shahrzad, and explained the phrase means to break up with "minimal acrimony." She and Martin have two children, daughter Apple and son Moses, and keep their relationship friendly for the sake of their family.

"You say, 'Look, we're a family. We have kids. We're always gonna be a family and let's try to find all the positives in our relationship, all the things that brought us together and the friendship,'" she related. "We actually have a really strong friendship ... You really say, 'I really want to find my love for you.'"


Noel Gallagher vs. Ed Sheeran...
Noel Gallagher has slammed fellow Brit Ed Sheeran, insisting he can't "live in a world" where the singer is headlining London's Wembley Stadium.

Sheeran has sold out three summer gigs at the fabled venue, which holds a capacity of 80,000 people, and Nasty Noel is far from happy.

He told Britain's NME magazine, "I don't think I can live in a world where that's even possible."

He continued, "When you hear that kind of polished pop and then there's a ginger guy with a f*** guitar, it seems subversive, but it's f*** not."

But Sheeran, who has become one of Britain's biggest acts thanks to the success of his chart-topping album "X," fired back at Gallagher's comments on Twitter.com, simply writing, "I can live in it, it's really enjoyable."

A rep for Eddie Cibrian has shot down ongoing tabloid reports suggesting the actor's wife LeAnn Rimes is pregnant.

A week after stories suggesting the couple has been visiting fertility doctors in a bid to have a child together, sources have told Star magazine that the singer/actress is, in fact, expecting.

The rep said, "This is so laughable it is actually sad. The stories they come up with are so ludicrous and untrue... There is zero truth to anything in the story."


Dylan McDermott and Maggie Q engaged?
Questions are swirling... Are the two co-stars (of series "Stalker") engaged?

The two sparked rumors of a new romance in September, and on Sunday, they made their red carpet debut at the Golden Globes, where the actress was spotted wearing an engagement ring, according to the New York Post.

If the reports are true, this will be the second marriage for McDermott, who was married to actress Shiva Rose from 1995 to 2009.


Singer Vanessa Carlton Welcomes A Daughter...
Vanessa Carlton is the proud mother of a baby daughter.

The 34-year-old singer and her husband, John McCauley, welcomed their first child on Tuesday.

The "A Thousand Miles" singer announced her pregnancy in a Facebook post last June, adding she was "bummed" to delay the release of her new album, Liberman.

Carlton and McCauley married in December 2013 in a ceremony officiated by Stevie Nicks.The singer announced in October of 2013 she was pregnant with the couple's first child, but later revealed she had a experienced a fallopian pregnancy.

The actress who says she isn't embarrassed by her racy tweet about Ryan Gosling?

It's Anna Kendrick... known for her candid tweets, she opened up about how uncomfortable it would be to meet the actor.

"Thank God I've never been in a room with him!" she said in a recent interview about the controversial tweet.

Here's the tweet: "Ugh - NEVER going to a Ryan Gosling movie in a theater again. Apparently masturbating in the back row is still considered 'inappropriate'"

She went on to say in the interview, "I don't feel embarrassed, though," she added. "I'm sure he has a sense of humor. But I'd probably feel like I'd have to address [the tweet], and I'd end up saying something to make it much, much worse."
