Psalm 145:17-21

The Lord is righteous in all His ways,
Gracious in all His works.
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.

He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;
He also will hear their cry and save them.
The Lord preserves all who love Him...
And all flesh shall bless His holy name forever.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

A reader, Dan J. sent in this suggestion that has worked well
for his family, and as it turns out, works well for our family
as well: Every time we get into the car, before pulling away
we pray, giving thanks and asking for guidance, protection,
and inspiration of the Holy Spirit while on the road, whatever
the circumstances.

It is a great opportunity for families to pray together,
and a wonderful habit to cultivate!

God Bless You!

Annie

--FEATURED FUNNY:

A little boy riding the bus had been sniffling for several
blocks. The lady sitting next to him said, "Little boy, do
you have a handkerchief?"

"Yes, ma'am," he replied, "but I never lend it to strangers."

--ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. How old was Jehoash when he became king, and how
long did he reign?

A. seven years old, forty years

Jehoash was seven years old when he became king. In the
seventh year of Jehu, Jehoash became king, and he reigned
forty years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Zibiah of
Beersheba.

2 Kings 11:21 and 12:1

Since Jehoash was obviously too young to make decisions,
his mother would have acted as Queen Regent until he came
of age.
