Here's the Scoop....
As detectives launch a domestic violence investigation against
Mel Gibson, the actor's rep wants fans to know that Mel, has
no plans to flee the country.
Over the weekend, reports swirled that Mel, now engaged in an
ugly custody war with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, is
heading to Australia, where he and his family moved when he
was 12.
But his rep says "there?s no truth" to those reports.
Mel is focusing on work, his rep says.
His rep confirms that the actor resumed shooting the Jodie
Foster-directed comedy The Beaver in NYC "two weeks ago,"
after the July 1 release of his first expletive-ridden
leaked tape and after he was dropped by his talent agency,
William Morris Endeavor.
On Friday, a shot of a roughed-up Oksana hit the web. The
photo was allegedly snapped after she got into a January
fight with Mel.
Despite rumors that Oksana may have doctored the photo,
her rep says the disturbing pic is "true and accurate."
Looks Like Mel might be in over his head this time...

Celtics Paul Pierce Ties the Knot With Oceanfront Wedding...
In an intimate ceremony as the sun set over the Pacific on
Saturday, Boston Celtics star Paul Pierce married Julie
Landrum surrounded by white orchids, roses and hydrangeas.
Paul and his bride exchanged vows underneath a gazebo at
The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Coast, Calif. The
couple's 2-year-old daughter, Prianna, served as the
flower girl, and fellow Celtics Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen
and coach Glenn "Doc" Rivers were among the approximately
80 guests.
The bride wore a strapless Ines Di Santo gown, while
Pierce chose a custom Éléyee tuxedo.
The wedding was planned by event planner Mindy Weiss.
Following the ceremony, guests headed to an indoor
reception that featured a jazz quartet and red-themed
floral décor designed by Mark's Garden.
The menu, inspired by one of the couple's favorite
restaurants, Katana in West Hollywood, included Robata-
grilled skewers of meat, fish and chicken. Guests also
enjoyed different flavored infused sake and other
Japanese-inspired fare served in a bento box.
The multi-tiered wedding cake included chocolate, red
velvet and coconut layers, and DJ Tendaji Lathan spun
after dinner, as the couple shared a first dance to R.
Kelly's "You Made Me Love You."

Why Teen Glee Singer Charice Got Botox...
18-year-old singer Charice is prepping for her upcoming role
on Glee by doing more than brushing up on her acting skills.
At a recent press conference in her native country of the
Philippines, Charice revealed she recently got Botox and a
skin-tightening Thermage procedure "to look fresh on camera."
Charice was treated by local cosmetic dermatologist Vicki
Belo, who is the medical director of several skin clinics
in the country. Belo said that she aimed to alter the shape
of Charice's ?naturally round face.?
?Charice's face, I?ve been noticing, it's been getting wider,"
Belo was quoted as saying. She blamed the widening on the
Charice's gum-chewing habit. "Our chewing muscles, if you
chew a lot of gums, it gets bigger.?
Charice, who will play an exchange student on Glee and a
rival to Lea Michele's Rachel, admitted she felt pressure
to look good for the hit TV series.
"All people will be anticipating how will Charice look? Is
she good enough to pit against Rachel Berry? So of course
there is tremendous pressure," she said.
The singer's rep confirms she had Botox, but says it was
not for cosmetic purposes. "She's had Botox for some jaw
pain she's experiencing." (Botox can be used to ease pain

After a ten-year-long business partnership, Alicia Keys
and her manager Jeff Robinson will no longer be working
together.
The two will continue to collaborate and produce future
albums, but Alicia will be looking over her own career.
Her company, AK Worldwide, will take over duties such as
touring schedules, licensing to film, television, and
new business development.
Alicia and Jeff's joint statement reads:
"This decision will allow Alicia more control over all
aspects of her career from singing and songwriting, to
leading many business ventures and social causes. The
decision was "mutually agreed upon and amicable."

Jaleel 'Urkel' White cleared over battery claims...
"Family Matters" star Jaleel White has been cleared of
allegations he attacked a woman, due to a lack of evidence.
Jaleel, who played nerd Steve Urkel on the sitcom, was at
the center of a police investigation after former lover
Bridget Hardy claimed the star punched her in the chest
while they were driving on a Los Angeles freeway in June.
The accuser, the mom of Jaleel's daughter, also alleged
that in a separate incident the actor slapped her before
pushing her into a toilet with such force that the
porcelain broke.
But the case has been dropped after Los Angeles Police
Department authorities ruled there was not enough evidence
to move forward with the case.
Jaleel's attorney, Philip Cohen, says that Hardy's
"credibility and timing" were called into question because
she waited several weeks to report the allegations.

Katherine has battled with her addiction to tobacco since
she was 24 years old, but vowed to quit last year after
admitting she had become "a slave" to her habit.
She was also pushed to stop smoking after becoming a mother
to adopted daughter Naleigh in September.
But she hasn't completely snubbed her dependency on nicotine.
She was snapped puffing on an electronic cigarette on the
set of her new film "One For The Money."
The device provides inhaled doses of nicotine through a
vaporized solution so users don't have to breathe in harmful
smoke.
