Hint 2: Getting Dog Hair Out of the Carpet

There are a few pickup tricks that you can use when your pet sheds all over the carpet. First, try vacuuming the carpet vigorously using a brush attachment. Lift up any leftover hair with a damp sponge (you can buy sponges geared for this task at pet-supply stores). Swipe a sneaker over the carpet â?? hair will stick to the rubber sole. You could also roll lengths of cellophane or masking tape around your hand to pick up small amounts of hair.
