"The World Is Yours!" Well, I guess it'll be Diego Lunas.

Diego Luna will reportedly star in the forthcoming Scarface remake.

The 37-year-old Mexican actor will play Cuban drug lord Tony Montana in a remake of the 1983 movie that starred Al Pacino, according to Variety.

Sources said director Antoine Fuqua will no longer direct the film due to a scheduling conflict with The Equalizer sequel. Universal Pictures is reportedly meeting with other directors to avoid production delays.

Fuqua was said to have "very much wanted" to direct the movie, but was unable to reconcile his schedule. Terence Winter (Boardwalk Empire) wrote the most recent screenplay, with Marc Shmuger and Scarface producer Marty Bregman as producers.

Scarface (1983), itself based on the 1932 movie of the same name, earned more than $65 million at the box office. The remake will re-imagine the core story of both the 1983 and 1932 versions.

"It's part of what we do. We remake things," Pacino said of the project to The Hollywood Reporter in 2015. "I may remake a movie I saw recently. I can't say what it is. It's about 50 years old."

Luna is known for playing Cassian Andor in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and also appeared in Y tu mama tambien and Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights. He will also star in Flatliners with Ellen Page and Nina Dobrev.

Another remake of a remake, eh?

GLAAD Media Award nominees include 'Moonlight,' 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,' 'Black Mirror'
GLAAD, formerly known as the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, announced nominees for its 28th Annual Media Awards. This includes 115 nominees in 21 English-language categories and 41 Spanish-language nominees in 11 categories.

The GLAAD Media Awards honor media for their fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of the LGBTQ community and the issues that affect their lives.

Nominees include Academy Award-nominee and Golden Globe-winner Moonlight, The CW's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Supergirl, ABC's The Real O'Neals and Black-ish, Netflix's The OA, Grace and Frankie, Black Mirror, and Easy, Amazon's Transparent and One Mississippi; HBO's The Trans List, NBC's The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Frank Ocean for his album Blonde.

This year, Outstanding Film - Wide Release counts just two nominees -- Moonlight and Star Trek Beyond -- the fewest since 2003.

"For nearly 30 years, the GLAAD Media Awards have set the bar for media representations of LGBTQ people," said GLAAD President & CEO Sarah Kate Ellis. "At a time when progress is at a critical juncture, it is imperative that Hollywood tell more LGBTQ stories that reflect the community's rich diversity - and build understanding that brings all communities closer together. Kristen Bell's 'The Good Place' renewed for Season 2
NBC says it has renewed The Good Place, its freshman sitcom starring Kristen Bell and Ted Danson, for a 13-episode, second season.

The existential comedy is from executive producer and creator Michael Schur. Its renewal was announced this week by Jennifer Salke, president of NBC Entertainment.

"Mike Schur has always had one of the most fertile and imaginative minds in comedy, but what he brought us with the first season of The Good Place was just extraordinary," Salke said in a statement. "We absolutely can't wait to see where these characters go, literally, in Season 2. A big thank you to Mike, the writers and cast for delivering a series in which we all take such enormous pride."

Leonardo DiCaprio, Brie Larson to be presenters at the Oscars
Leonardo DiCaprio, Brie Larson, Mark Rylance and Alicia Vikander -- 2016's Academy Award-winning performers -- are to be presenters at the 2017 edition of the ceremony.

They won for their work in The Revenant, Room, Bridge of Spies and The Danish Girl respectively.

Oscars producers Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd announced Tuesday the actors' involvement in the upcoming gala.

Jimmy Kimmel will host the show honoring excellence in cinema on Feb. 26 in Los Angeles. The event will air on ABC.


'Lord of the Rings' stars Elijah Wood, Orlando Bloom reunite
Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood reunited with Orlando Bloom and other cast mates this week.

The 36-year-old American actor and 40-year-old English star enjoyed an outing with co-stars Viggo Mortensen, Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd.

"They have a cave troll," Monaghan captioned a photo on Instagram of the group recreating a scene from the Mines of Moria in The Fellowship of the Ring.

"When we reunite in a pub and someone says 'they have a cave troll' ...#squadgoals," Bloom added on his own account.

Monaghan, who played Meriadoc Brandybuck, also shared a picture of himself with Mortensen, who portrayed Aragorn, and with Wood and Boyd, who played Frodo Baggins and Peregrin Took, respectively.

"Doffing the off the shoulder band look with aplomb @boydbilly making @electrice and I look like onions," he wrote.

The Lord of the Rings movies -- The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King -- are based on the J.R.R. Tolkien book series of the same name, and earned over $2.9 billion at the box office.

"I remember being there two months out from shooting and just being surrounded by this positive energy of, 'We're a part of something really special,'" Wood told The Huffington Post in December.

"It was the most extraordinary experience of my life," he added. 'It's a wild thing to look back on. I feel like I kind of grew into being a man throughout that experience and had more responsibility than I'ever ever had and lived away from home longer than I've ever had."

The Fellowship of the Ring, which co-starred Ian McKellen as Gandalf, Sean Bean as Boromir and John Rhys-Davies as Gimli, celebrated its 15-year anniversary in December. Wood and Bloom also played Frodo and Legolas in The Hobbit movies.

Which six-time Grammy-winning electronic group will perform with The Weeknd at 59th Grammy Awards?

Daft Punk will collaborate with The Weeknd at the 2017 awards.

The performance at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards will be the first time the French group made up of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel Homem-Christo have performed live together since Daft Punk appeared at the Grammys in 2014, according to Pitchfork.

The group collaborated with The Weekend, the 26-year-old singer born Abel Tesfaye, for two tracks on his 2016 release Starboy which did not make the Grammy submission deadline.

The 2017 Grammy Awards will air on CBS Sunday, Feb. 12, at 8 p.m. ET and will feature several other collaborative performances.

Hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest will also perform alongside 15-time Grammy winner Dave Grohl and Best New Artist nominee Anderson .Paak and Alicia Keys will sing with Best New Artist nominee Maren Morris, Entertainment Tonight reported.

Late Late Show host James Corden will host the award show which will also feature performances by Adele, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Metallica, Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban.
