Hello Everyone...

Though I'm generally unimpressed by most modern music that comes out on the radio, I can always appreciate those bands that take a retro-approach to their music. Foxygen is such a band, they look back to the musical 60's for most of their tunes. Besides having a super cool name, this song, Shuggie is also pretty darn cool.

The song starts out normal enough, atmostpheric and melodic. AND THEN out of no where, the song surprises you with a psychedelic La-La-La part (you'll see what I mean). The time signatures seem to change, though I'm not an expert on the terminology. I just know it seems a little unpredictable, which I think is kinda cool! And FYI, I don't have a clue what's going on in that video :)
