Adele ordered not to speak or sing for a month...

British soul star Adele is on doctors' orders not to speak or sing for a whole month after a stubborn bout of laryngitis refused to clear up.

The "Rolling in The Deep" singer was diagnosed with laryngitis in May and was forced to scrap several dates in the U.S. after a specialist warned her she risked damaging her voice if she performed.

But, after resting for weeks, her throat problems have refused to go away and she has now been banned from performing and even chatting for a full four weeks.

A source explains, "Adele's voice is very special. But if she continues to abuse it in the way she has, then she could lose it completely."

The star recently quit smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol in a bid to improve her vocals, but decided to quit her healthy living plan after finding the lifestyle "grim."

Fox fired from "Tranformers" over Hitler remark...

Steven Spielberg demanded Michael Bay fire Megan Fox from the "Tranformers" franchise after she suggested the director was like Nazi leader Adolph Hitler.

Megan has always insisted she quit the blockbuster movie series after the "Transformers" sequel but now Michael has a different story, claiming he had to let her go after she likened him to Hitler.

According to reports, Michael revealed it was "Transformers" executive producer Steven Spielberg's decision to axe his leading lady.

He recalls, "Steven said, 'Fire her right now.'"

Michael insists he wasn't hurt by Megan's remarks, but Jewish movie mogul Steven, the founder of the Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation, was reportedly appalled.

Megan and Steven have yet to speak about the ongoing drama.

Megan was replaced by Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for the third "Transformers" film, which will be released later this summer.

Marilyn Monroe's dress is a record breaker...

Marilyn Monroe's "Seven Year Itch" dress, which went under the hammer at auction on Saturday, is a record breaker.

The iconic white dress fetched $5.5 million at the Profiles in History sale and became the most expensive Marilyn auction item ever.

It smashed the previous record of $1.26 million, which the gown she wore for her "Happy Birthday Mr. President" performance fetched.

The item also became the most prized movie costume ever. Audrey Hepburn's little black dress from "Breakfast at Tiffany's" previously held that honor when it sold for $923,187 in 2006.

The "Seven Year Itch" 'subway' gown was among the items being sold from veteran actress Debbie Reynolds' collection of movie clothing.

Other highlights at the first of two Reynolds Collection auctions included Marilyn's red sequin number from "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes," which sold for $1.2 million, Her saloon costume from "River of No Return," Judy Garland's blue cotton dress from "The Wizard of Oz," Charlie Chaplin's hat and Elizabeth Taylor's riding outfit from "National Velvet."

In total, the auction brought in $22.8 million!

It's Mel Gibson...

Mel recently completed a community service stint he was handed after striking a plea deal with Los Angeles prosecutors over allegations he attacked his then girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva during a heated argument last year.

He now appears to be putting the past behind him and moving on from his bitter split from the Russian singer by spending time with gothic model Stella Mouzi.

The pair has been photographed together enjoying a series of outings, including a trip to L.A.'s Sky Bar earlier this week, while Mouzi has visited Mel's Malibu, California home for a barbecue.
