Report: Carrie Fisher died of cardiac arrest, Debbie Reynolds of stroke
Death certificates reveal that "Star Wars" actress Carrie Fisher died of cardiac arrest and her mother, "Singin' in the Rain" star Debbie Reynolds, died of a stroke.

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health released death certificates Monday for the actresses Monday.

Fisher, the only daughter of Reynolds and late singer Eddie Fisher, died Dec. 27, days after going into cardiac arrest on a plane Dec. 23. The Star Wars actress' cause of death was listed as "cardiac arrest/deferred," meaning there will be further investigation.

Reynolds' cause of death was listed as an intracerebral hemorrhage -- a type of stroke -- with hypertension as an underlying cause, TMZ reported. She died Dec. 28, a day after Fisher, in a Los Angeles hospital.

"She wanted to be with Carrie," Reynolds' son, Todd Fisher, told Variety at the time.

Fisher was memorialized Thursday at her home in Beverly Hills, Calif., while Reynolds was buried the next day with some of her daughter's ashes.

The pair are survived by Fisher's daughter, Billie Lourd, and Todd Fisher.

Which actor/director says his daughters love Disney, Taylor Swift?

'Flip or Flop' star Tarek El Moussa files for divorce
Flip or Flop stars Tarek and Christina El Moussa are officially headed for divorce.

Tarek, 35, filed to end his marriage to Christina, 33, about a month after announcing their separation, his lawyer revealed to People on Monday.

The HGTV stars were married more than seven years and share two children, daughter Taylor and son Brayden. The couple split in December 2016, six months after police were called to their home during a dramatic altercation.

"Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage," the pair said in a statement Dec. 12. "We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed."

"We are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be," they added. "We will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together."

Sources told TMZ in December that Christina has been dating contractor Gary Anderson since May. She posted a photo with Anderson's daughter Dec. 30 on Instagram from a trip to Park City, Utah.

Which actor/director says his daughters love Disney, Taylor Swift?

Ben Affleck says his preteen daughters are crazy about Disney and Taylor Swift.

The 44-year-old actor explained on Tuesday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show that he bonds with Violet and Seraphina, his 11-year-old and 8-year-old daughters with Jennifer Garner, by listening to Radio Disney and going to Taylor Swift shows.

"I've become an expert on the tweens. I don't know how much Radio Disney you listen to, but I hear quite a bit. When we get in the car, it's gotta come on right away. It's gotta stay on the entire time," Affleck told host Ellen DeGeneres.

"I hear a lot about the romantic adventures of Disney characters who are on the Disney Channel, we go to Taylor Swift concerts, and that's my life. Taylor Swift is great, by the way. She's a great role model," he added.

Affleck shares Violet, Seraphina and 4-year-old son Samuel with Garner, from whom he split in June 2015 after 10 years of marriage. He gushed about the 44-year-old actress and their family in a Time Talks interview in December.

"In my career or otherwise, [the most defining moment of my life] is the birth of my children. The entrance of my children into the world," the star declared.

"[Jennifer is the] world's greatest mom," he added. "It's a joy to hang out with [our kids]. I think the meaning of life is to make good people."

Affleck will next star in the drama Live by Night, which opens in theaters Friday. His younger brother, Casey Affleck, won a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Drama on Sunday for Manchester by the Sea.
