Here's the Scoop....

Courtney Love has been linked to an actor who once played a
character based on her late husband Kurt Cobain.

The Hole rocker, who was widowed when Kurt died in 1994, is
rumored to be dating Michael Pitt, 30, after pictures of the
pair together emerged online. The snaps, which appear to
have been taken by the stars themselves, show them staring
into each other's eyes, while Courtney, 46, is seen
affectionately ruffling Michael's hair and stroking his face.

Michael played a character based on the late Nirvana frontman
in Gus Van Sant's 2005 movie "Last Days," a fictionalized
account of Cobain's final hours.

Johnny Depp writing songs with Steven Tyler...

Johnny Depp's music ambitions have been given a huge boost
after hitting the studio with Aerosmith frontman Steven
Tyler, calling the collaboration "a dream come true."

Johnny began his career as a musician before turning to
acting, although he has returned to his rock roots in recent
years by recording with British band Babybird and directing
one of their videos.

He is now writing tracks with rock icon Steven Tyler, saying
"We've been hanging out here and there. He's someone I've
admired greatly for such a long time. The idea of writing
songs with him is a dream come true."

Steven recently pinpointed Johnny as the ideal actor play him
in a film adaptation of his life, and the movie star admits
he would happily take on the role if asked, adding, "I would
give it a shot, why not?"

Carrie Fisher's Weight-Loss Journey...

The Force is with Carrie Fisher.

With the help of Jenny Craig, the actress is 30 lbs. lighter
these days.

"I feel much better," Carrie, 54, says. "My blood pressure is
down. And I can stand on the scale at the doctor's office."

The 5'1" tall Star Wars actress decided to sign up for the
weight-loss program after she packed on pounds while doing
her one woman play, Wishful Drinking.

"I went on the road with the show and I did not exercise for
three years and I just ate horribly," she says. "My ritual
was drinking regular soda and having pounds of peanut butter
protein bars."

On her new routine, she has replaced sodas for water and
snacks on Jenny Craig popcorn and cookies. Exercise has also
become part of her life again.

"I'll just get on the elliptical machine first thing in the
morning and get it over with," Carrie says. "I'm up to about
an hour now. If I read books, I don't look as much at the
time."

She is ready to look over a few more social invitations now
so she can show off her sleek new look, and the old pair of
Miss Sixty jeans that finally fit her again!

The extra weight "made me not want to go out at all," she
admits. "Now it's an option for me to go out. I actually went
to the Lakers game a couple of times."

Hoping to lose another 20 lbs., if not more, Carrie adds: "I
like looking better. Before you had to like me for my mind.
I'm hoping to give people options now."

Adele's ex-boyfriend wanted royalties for inspiring album...

British soul star Adele's ex-boyfriend demanded a slice of
the royalties from her chart-topping album "21" after
learning several of the tracks were inspired by their break-
up.

The "Rolling in the Deep" hitmaker poured her emotions into
her music after splitting from her unnamed partner and the
melancholy record has sold millions of copies around the
world since hitting shelves earlier this year.

Adele was subsequently stunned when her former lover
contacted her and asked about receiving a payment from her
earnings.

She comments, "For about a week he was calling and was
deadly serious about it. Finally, I said, 'Well, you made my
life hell, so I lived it and now I deserve it.'

"He really thought he'd had some input into the creative
process by being a p**ck. I'll give him this credit. He made
me an adult and put me on the road that I'm traveling."
