Hello Animal Lovers,

We are certainly well past the first day of snow, and winter seems to be winding down. We just got some flurries here in Chicago, but it was not that substantial. Heck, it was 60 degrees a week ago! Back down in the 30s now though :(

But for some animals, theres this magical thing associated with snow - especially for animals not used to seeing it ever. Elephants for example, seem to love it! Portland Zoo in Oregon closed one day during a heavy snowfall and a lone employee captured some of the animals enjoying winter. Check it out!
