Hello Everyone,
Many of you wrote in asking about the recipe for the Tea Tree Cleaner. Here it is...
1/2 cup white vinegar
3 cups water
1/4 teaspoon tea tree oil (about 10 drops)*
Optional: 10 drops essential oil, for scent
Directions: In a 1-quart spray bottle, combine the vinegar, water and tea tree oil and shake well to combine. Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the mix, if you'd prefer a scented cleaner.
You can use this cleaner on any hard surface, such as counter tops, sinks, and floors. When used with a microfiber cloth, it will even clean your mirrors and windows without leaving streaks! (It will be streak-free after it dries.)

Hint 1: Clear up A Sore Throat
Tea tree oil can help with some inflammation of the mucous membranes, which contributes to the pain of a sore throat, but most importantly it can help fight off an infection. If caught in time, it can also possibly prevent it from really taking hold in the first place.
Put 1 drop of tea tree oil into a glass of warm water, swish it around and gargle with it at least once a day. Don't panic if you swallow a little bit, but try to spit out most of it. You can also add 2 teaspoons of salt which, thanks to osmosis, will draw excess water out of the mucous membranes that can create pressure and add to discomfort.

Hint 2: Clean your washing machine
If you want to freshen up your washing machine, add 10-15 drops of tea tree oil to the empty drum and run it on the hot cycle to get rid of any bacteria and odor.
Hint 3: Abrasions & Minor Cuts
After cleaning the area well, apply a few drops of the
oil directly. If a bandage is needed, allow a few drops
of the oil to penetrate a cotton ball, then lay it face
down on the wound with a bandage on top.
