Felicity Huffman Was 'so scared' To Marry William H. Macy...
The 52-year-old actress admitted as much in an interview with the Tribune Live. Huffman and Macy dated on and off for 15 years before they wed, and the star said she feared being married would cause her to lose her sense of self.
"I was so scared of marriage that I thought I would've preferred to step in front of a bus," she confessed. "Bill Macy asked me to marry him several times over several years. And I was finally smart enough to go: 'I'm going to marry this guy or really lose him for good.'"
"I thought I'd disappear," she reflected of her identity as an individual. "Men's stock when they get married goes up. Women's stock goes down. Another thing, 60 percent of first marriages fail, 80 percent of second marriages fail."
Huffman said she learned to embrace the "comfort" and "safety" of a relationship built on trust. She and the 64-year-old actor wed in September 1997, and have two daughters together, 15-year-old Sophia and 12-year-old Georgia.
Huffman is best known for portraying Lynette Scavo on ABC drama Desperate Housewives, and recently appeared with Macy in Jennifer Aniston-starring Cake. The actress will portray Barb Hanlon on upcoming ABC series American Crime.
Over 30 Years Later, Harrison Ford To Return For 'Blade Runner' Sequel...
Harrison Ford is returning to one of the roles that made him an international superstar (no not Hans Solo).
He has agreed to reprise the role of Rick Deckard for a much-anticipated and oft-delayed sequel to the 1982 sci-fi classic Blade Runner. The film helped solidify the industry reputations of Ford and British filmmaker Ridley Scott.
The sequel is being helmed by Denis Villeneuve. The sequel, likely set for a 2017 release, is scheduled to go into pre-production next summer and will include Scott as a co-producer. The untitled sequel is set decades after the original film, which took place in 2019 Los Angeles.
In December, Variety reported that Ford called the sequel's script the "best thing he's ever read."
Blade Runner was only mildly received upon its 1982 release, earning just $6 million in its opening weekend and drawing mixed reviews from critics. It has since gained a tremendous following and critics have retroactively heaped praise on the film. It is now considered one of the greatest science-fiction films of all time.
Part of the Blade Runner appeal in the years since its release owes to the five different versions released by Warner Bros... a workprint, the U.S. and international 1982 theatrical versions, Scott's 1992 "Director's Cut" and the so-called "Final Cut" in 2007.
Blade Runner also had an immense impact on films that followed, in both style and substance. Before resurrecting the Batman franchise in 2004, director Christopher Nolan reportedly screened the film for his cinematographer and two other crew members and commanded afterward, "this is how we're going to do Batman."

Bruce Willis' Indie Film Shut Down Over Financial Problems...
Production on Bruce Willis' independent film Wake has been shut down just 10 days into shooting because of problems securing financing.
Bruce had already begun shooting the thriller in Cleveland, Ohio, but filming had to be put on hold as producers were left scrambling for funding,
Bosses at the film's production company, Benaroya Pictures, have confirmed the shut down, insisting they are hopeful filming will be up and running again soon.
A statement from the producers reads: "Benaroya Pictures is working quickly to remedy the delay in production on the feature film Wake, and we are optimistic we will resume principal photography in approximately 2-3 weeks."
Bruce plays a sociopath who returns to his childhood home on a remote island for his brother's wake in the film. It also stars Sir Ben Kingsley, Ellen Burstyn and Piper Perabo.
Paula Deen To Launch Cooking Radio Show and Podcast...
Paula Deen has a new radio show and podcast in the works.
The 68-year-old celebrity chef will launch daily radio show Get Cooking with Paula Deen and weekly podcast What's Cooking with Paula Deen on May 1, according to an exclusive from People.
The broadcasts will be targeted toward country and news-talk stations, and feature stories, advice, recipes and cooking tips. Deen partnered with Compass Media Networks on the projects, and creative director Brandon Branch will contribute to her podcast.
"I had my first day in the studio yesterday and we had so much fun!" she told the magazine. "I cannot wait to bring my vignettes and podcast to listeners around America. I have a ton of fun tips up my sleeve to make their life a little easier."
Deen launched a subscriber-based service, The Paula Deen Network, in September 2014. Deen reportedly turned down a new television show to pursue the online venture, and appeared on Today last week to share her recipe for chicken and waffles.
Deen's online network and upcoming radio show and podcast come in the wake of the controversy that put her career on hold. The chef lost dozens of endorsements and her Food Network show after she admitted to using racial slurs in June 2013.

The pop star who treated freezing fans to free coffee as she made an unexpected visit to a local Starbucks?
It's Christina Aguilera... She paid a visit to the tourist-heavy Rockefeller Center concourse, and stopped by the popular coffee shop much to other customers' surprise.
A source tells E! News, 'There were only about 10 people in the store at first, but when people started to realize who she was more and more (people) came in. She took a lot of time to take pictures with the customers.'
Christina also took to Twitter, posting a photo of herself autographing a paper cup, and added the caption, 'Coffee on me for the next hour! Head to 30 Rock! Xo Xtina.'
