Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

Although it is difficult to wait on the Lord at times, there are wonderful rewards for so doing, as we see in Psalm 37:9: "For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the LORD, They shall inherit the earth." and Psalm 37:34: "Wait on the LORD, And keep His way, And He shall exalt you to inherit the land"

God Bless You!

--TODAY'S NOT SO TRIVIAL TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. We now know that Eutychus was overcome by sleep while listening to Paul speak. Where was he sitting?

Answer below.

------------------------------------------------------------

--DAILY BIBLE VERSE:

I wait for the LORD, my soul waits,
And in His word I do hope.
My soul waits for the Lord
More than those who watch for the morning --
Yes, more than those who watch for the morning.

Psalm 130:5-6

--TODAY'S BIT OF WISDOM/REFLECTION:

Simply wait upon Him. So doing, we shall be directed, supplied, protected, corrected, and rewarded.

--FEATURED FUNNY:

Recently, our 18-year-old daughter started hunting for her first real job. She spent an afternoon filling out applications, leaving them on the kitchen table to finish later. As I walked by, a section of the application on top jumped out at me. Under "Previous Employment" she wrote, "Baby sitting."

In answer to "Reason for Leaving" she wrote, "Parents came home."

--ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. Where was Eutychus sitting?

A. In a window.

And in a window sat a certain young man named Eutychus, who was sinking into a deep sleep.

Acts 20:9
