Greetings,

the funnier side of failing relationships while 'The Time
Traveler's Wife' tests love through the sands of time. 'The
Stepfather' is the intense remake of the original slasher

'Couples Retreat' DVD
Vince Vaughn and Malin Akerman are among the actors in this
seriocomedy about four couples who go to a luxury resort on
a tropical island and work on their relationships there.
Vaughn and Akerman play a couple whose kids stress them out.
Another couple (Jason Bateman and Kristen Bell) is unhappy
because they can't conceive. A third pair (Jon Favreau and
Kristin Davis) plans to divorce as soon as their teenager
goes to college. And Faizon Love plays a divorced man whose
girlfriend (Kali Hawk) is half his age and calls him Daddy.
There's a funny scene in a yoga class.

'The Stepfather' DVD
A remake of the 1987 movie, this thriller stars Dylan Walsh
(Nip/Tuck). David Harris (Walsh) claims he's a family-values
man, and he serially seeks out single moms, pairs off with
them, and becomes stepfather to their children. But the
family never lives up to his expectations, so Harris murders
them. In the film, he moves in with a mom (Sela Ward), but
when her teenage son Michael (Penn Badgley from Gossip Girl)
comes home from military school, he suspects something is
wrong. Also, Michael has a good-looking girlfriend (Amber
Heard) who is often seen scantily clad.

'The Time Traveler's Wife' DVD
Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams are paired in this paranormal
love story based on Audrey Niffenegger's bestselling novel.
The main character is Henry, who has a strange disorder that
causes him to travel uncontrollably between past, present
and future. His clothes don't time travel with him, so he
always arrives naked. As an adult Henry is portrayed by Eric
Bana, but as a boy he is played by a child actor. The love
of Henry's life is Clare, as an adult portrayed by Rachel
McAdams and as a girl by a child actress. But Henry's time
travel poses difficulties for the romantic relationship.
