Here's the Scoop...

Last week, it was announced that 'The X-Files' is coming back to television for a six-episode continuation of the series/franchise/pop culture phenomenon. How can you not be excited for that TV event? And how can you top that?

Well, NBC is reviving Craig T. Nelson's sitcom 'Coach'. WHAT?! I enjoyed 'Coach' during its time on the air, and I'm kind of shocked and excited about this news. But please, please, please make sure that Jerry Van Dyke is a part of this revival. And if he's not available get Dick Van Dyke. This thing needs a Van Dyke. Trust me.

Be Well,
Steve

Drea de Matteo's apartment destroyed in NYC explosion
Drea de Matteo revealed her apartment was destroyed in an explosion Thursday.

The 43-year-old actress shared a photo of New York firefighters as they extinguished her flaming East Village building, writing, "A hole where my NYC home of the last 22 years once stood... RIP 123 2nd Avenue."

CBS New York reported an apparent gas explosion leveled three of four buildings impacted by the blast. A total of 19 people were injured, including five FDNY members, and four were left in critical condition. Up to eight people were still missing as of Friday morning.

"My thoughts and prayers are with all those who have been impacted by the explosion in Lower Manhattan today," Governor Andrew Cuomo said in a statement. "On behalf of all New Yorkers, I thank the hundreds of first responders who put the safety of others before their own."

Cuomo promised the Department of Public Service will conduct a full investigation into the cause of the incident. Utility company Con Edison revealed workers deemed a new meter unfit for gas prior to the explosion, but said no leaks were found on the block's gas mains.

De Matteo is best known for portraying Adriana La Cerva on The Sopranos, and went on to play Wendy Case on Sons of Anarchy and Angie Bolen on Desperate Housewives. The actress will next star as Shirley Nazario on new NBC police drama Shades of Blue.

'Empire' co-stars Grace Gealey, Trai Byers reportedly dating
Empire co-stars Grace Gealey and Trai Byers are reportedly dating.

The 30-year-old actress and 33-year-old actor portray Anika Calhoun, aka Boo Boo Kitty, and Andre Lyon on the Fox series, respectively. Sources told Us Weekly the couple felt an immediate connection after meeting on set and have been together ever since.

"They started seeing each other during the shooting of the show," an insider revealed. "There was an instant attraction, people working on the show are aware about it. When they all hang out together they'll cuddle and give a kiss, but it's nothing obscene."

Gealey and Byers sparked romance rumors by attending a wedding together this week, reports TMZ. The couple were affectionate but restrained, and a second source told Us Weekly the pair are "having a great time together."

Empire premiered in January and aired its season finale last week. The musical drama follows Empire Entertainment CEO and patriarch Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) as he grooms his sons to take over the company following his diagnosis with ALS.

Craig T. Nelson returning to TV as 'Coach'
It looks like X-Files isn't the only 1990s television show staging a comeback. NBC announced it's bringing back Craig T. Nelson for a 13-episode revival of the sitcom Coach.

The series originally aired on ABC from 1989 to 1997, starring Nelson as the head coach of a football team at Minnesota State University.

The revamped series will be a sequel to the original, following Hayden Fox as he leaves retirement to be assistant coach alongside his son, who is head coach, at an ivy league school in Pennsylvania.

The series will be shot as a multi-cam sitcom, and original creator Barry Kemp is returning to write. So far no other actors have been attached to the project. It's also unclear when the series will air.

Nelson recently wrapped up the final season of NBC's Parenthood.

Molly Sims, husband Scott Stuber welcome baby girl
Molly Sims and husband Scott Stuber welcomed their second child Wednesday.

The 41-year-old model revealed the news Thursday on Instagram, writing, "We welcome Scarlett May Stuber into our family. Our hearts are bigger with you here."

Sims and Stuber are already parents to two-year-old son Brooks Alan. The couple married in September 2011, and announced the model's second pregnancy in September 2014.

"We couldn't be more excited," Sims captioned a photo of her baby bump on her blog in January. "I can't wait to meet our baby girl and I just know that Brooks is going to be the very best big brother ever. Two kids under three... here we GO!"

Sims came to fame as a model and appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue five times. She subsequently pursued a career in acting as Delinda Deline on NBC series Las Vegas, and last played Vicky/Mrs. Donovan on Sex and the City prequel The Carrie Diaries.

Which 'Mad Men' star recently posed topless for Violet Grey?

Actress January Jones, 37, stripped down as one of six different looks for the digital magazine, with only her long, blonde hair to protect her modesty.

"We wanted to do an elevated take on before-and-after photos and explore the idea that a lot women, myself included, feel less vulnerable once they're dressed and have their makeup on," the Mad Men star explained in the article.

Jones told the publication having no makeup on makes her feel "sexy and vulnerable." The actress revealed she was at her most confident as a child, and started to feel insecure once she reached high school and became "quote-unquote pretty."

Jones will return as Betty Draper Francis on the final season of Mad Men come April 5. The actress wore a black and red dress to the AMC series' Black & Red Ball premiere this week, while co-star Christina Hendricks stunned in an emerald-green detachable gown.
