Here's the Scoop...

So, are you ready for more 'Avatar' movies? How about four more?

That's right. 'Avatar' writer/director James Cameron says that there will be four more 'Avatar' movies in theaters on Christmas in 2018, 2020, 2022 and 2023.

Great gravy! Do we really need more 'Avatar' movies? Do we really need more Sam Worthington? No, of course not! But it made billions of dollars so...Cha-Ching...why not!

Hollywood is like a Pez dispenser. Do you like candy? Yes! But it's Pez? Oh, okay, I guess. Want more candy? Sure. It's still Pez. Well, it's better than no candy. Okay.

Just stop with these movies! No more sequels, sagas and trilogies. Just tell one story in two hours and move on. How about that?

Be Well,
Steve

'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt' star Ellie Kemper pregnant
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt star Ellie Kemper and husband Michael Koman are expecting their first child.

The 35-year-old actress announced the happy news on Wednesday's episode of The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon before digging into a pint of Ben & Jerry's Tonight Dough ice cream.

"I was [pregnant] during [Unbreakable]," Kemper revealed. "It didn't really effect filming until the very end. We had a table read and I saw that my character was supposed to be on a roller coaster."

"It was still very early on, but I felt like a pregnant lady on a roller coaster is not ideal," she elaborated. "So I had to tell my boss, Tina Fey ... Because it was so early on we decided to just tell people I had a back injury and that's why I couldn't ride the roller coaster."

Kemper and Koman, a former Late Night with Conan O'Brien writer, have been together since 2009 and married in 2012. The actress stars as the title character on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, which will premiere a second season Friday on Netflix.

"Especially in this season, the writers did make room and time for her to grapple with the more difficult parts in life," Kemper told Collider of Season 2. "In this season, it was nice to get to know all the characters quite a bit better and figure out who they are, alongside each other."

"She doesn't have the power to control other people," she added of Kimmy's challenges. "That's something that frustrates her, and that's addressed a lot in this season. Some things happen that are beyond your control."

Kemper is also known for playing Erin Hannon on NBC series The Office and starring in the Paul Feig comedy Bridesmaids. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt premiered in March 2015.

Jeff Goldblum on possibly returning to 'Jurassic' franchise: 'I'm nothing if not open'
Jeff Goldblum claims that his door is always open when it comes to the possibility of starring in another Jurassic film.

"Yes, in 20 years!" Goldblum joked with Fandango Thursday when asked if there was any plans to involve him in the upcoming sequel to Jurassic World. Goldblum was last seen in The Lost World: Jurassic Park almost 20 years ago, the same amount time he spent away from Independence Day of which he is now the star of its sequel, Independence Day: Resurgence.

"Nah I have no plans. They're doing very well without me," he continued before becoming more positive about the idea after being pressed further.

"I'm nothing if not open. I'm like an open-faced sandwich. My door is not always open -- I took the door off," Goldblum remarked.

"I removed the hinges from the door. I'm too open. I'm like a chicken piccata. What was I about to say? Oh yes, the two [Jurassic] movies I did with them were plenty. If I never did anything more, I'd certainly be well satisfied."

Currently, Jurassic World 2 is still in early development with a release date of June 22, 2018 already locked in. The sequel has no director official attached as original helmer Colin Trevorrow has signed on to direct Star Wars: Episode IX. Trevorrow is still signed onto Jurassic World 2 as co-writer and executive producer.

Resurgence sees Goldblum reprise his role as David Levinson from the original 1997 sci-fi thriller, the computer expert who first warned the White House of an impending alien attack, albeit too late.

The 20 years in the making sequel reunites director Roland Emmerich and Goldblum with original castmates Bill Pullman as Thomas Whitmore, Vivica A. Fox as Jasmine Dubrow, Judd Hirsch as Julius Levinson and Brent Spiner as Brackish Okun. Newcomers Liam Hemsworth and Jessie Usher will also star.

Independence Day: Resurgence arrives in theaters June 24, 2016.

LOOSE LIPS:
"It felt strange to look at a picture of myself that is so different from what I look like when I look in the mirror. It's an unfortunate feeling."

Jason Statham signs on to dinosaur film 'Meg'
Jason Statham will be fighting giant undersea dinosaurs for his new upcoming film, Meg.

The Furious 7 actor has signed on with Warner Bros. and Chinese company Gravity to make the film, which has been in the works for two decades, The Hollywood Reporter said.

The movie is an adaptation of the novel Meg by author Steve Alten, which first published in 1997. The book's protagonist is a U.S. Navy deep sea diver named Jonas Taylor who comes across a Megaladon.

The movie, which is Statham's first lead role in a film of this caliber, will be set in China, Deadline reported.

National Treasure director Jon Turtletaub is set to lead production after a deal with director Eli Roth reportedly fell through. Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Colin Wilson are among those who will produce the film.

'Game of Thrones' showrunners may end series with shorter seasons
Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have discussed the possibility of the hit HBO fantasy drama ending with shorter seasons.

"I think we're down to our final 13 episodes after this season. We're heading into the final lap," Benioff said to Variety Thursday of potential plans following the upcoming Season 6.

"That's the guess, though nothing is yet set in stone, but that's what we're looking at."

Throughout its run, every season of Game of Thrones has contained 10 one-hour long episodes. The same can be said for Season 6 however, Entertainment Weekly has reported that the series potentially only has 13 hours left of content to be split between a proposed Season 7 and Season 8.

"We've known for several years now how many hours, roughly we want it to go," Benioff said to Entertainment Weekly. "It hasn't changed."

Nothing however has been officially decided and set in stone. "In every conversation, that's been [the showrunners'] thinking," added HBO entertainment president Michael Lombardo to Entertainment Weekly. "It will be interesting to see how strongly they feel about being definitive about that when we are in a position to announce seasons 7 and 8."

Game of Thrones returns to HBO on April 24.

On Tuesday, star John Bradley shared a new clip from the upcoming season giving fans their first glimpse at his character Samwell and Hannah Murray's character Gilly during an appearance on Conan.
