Close friends of singer Mariah Carey are saying that she
is four months pregnant, despite both her and husband
Nick Canon's silence on the issue.
"I've said it before and I'll say it time and time again,
when my wife feels like talking about whatever she wants
to talk about, you will hear it directly from her," said
Nick on his radio show in New York this week.
It?s cute that Nick is trying to keep it a secret, but
the news will be out just as soon as Mariah starts wearing
stretchy clothing to accomodate her new ?curvy? figure.
The source confirmed Mariah?s desire to become pregnant:
?Mariah has tried so hard to get pregnant. She?s very
excited. She wants to wait as close to full term as
possible before going public with the news to her fans.?

Elin Speaks Finally Speaks Out...
Her divorce is final and she's ready to talk. Elin Nordegren
breaks her nine-month silence in a recent interview.
"I have been through the stages of disbelief and shock, to
anger and ultimately grief over the loss of the family I so
badly wanted for my children," she say.
The 30-year-old mother of two, who is studying towards a
college degree in psychology, says that despite Tiger's
betrayal, "I also feel stronger than I ever have. I have
confidence in my beliefs, my decisions and myself."
In 19 hours over four visits to her Windermere, Fla.,
rental home, Elin shared never-before-seen personal
photographs and opened up about the emotional roller
coaster she's been on, her life as a mother to Sam, 3,
and Charlie, 19 months, and her hopes for the future.
"My immediate plan is for the kids and me to continue to
adjust to our new situation. I am going to keep taking
classes, but my main focus is to try to give myself time
to heal," she says.
Elin also makes clear this was her first ? and last ?
interview, as she intends to remain a private person.

Lindsay Lohan Released from Rehab...
After serving a fraction of her jail term and rehab stay,
Lindsay Lohan is a free woman ? sort of.
Lindsay checked out of UCLA's Neuropsychiatric Hospital on
Tuesday after just over three weeks. The judge had
originally ordered Lohan to three months of in-patient
treatment as part of her sentence for violating probation
in a DUI case.
"She's out and doing really well," the source says.
According to a source close to Lindsay, she is now in UCLA's
outpatient program, which has strict rules for patients.
"The outpatient program is just like the inpatient program,
except you get to go home at night," a UCLA patient explains.
Due to overcrowding and good behavior, Lindsay's jail term
also had been cut short to 13 days instead of the three
months ordered by the judge.
A hearing is set for Wednesday morning at a Beverly Hills
courthouse before a new judge, Elden Fox.

Country Star James Otto Welcomes Baby Girl!...
Break out the cigars: country music singer James Otto just
became a first-time dad!
He and his wife Amy welcomed daughter Ava Catherine Otto
on Tuesday night in a Nashville-area hospital, his rep
tells says. The couple's bundle of joy weighed in at 8
lbs., 2 oz. and is 19 1/2 inches long.
"We can't believe Ava is finally here!" James gushed. "She
is beautiful like her Mama and I am already wrapped
around her tiny finger."
Adds the singer, who has been on tour: "I am so grateful
I made it home in time to be here for her arrival--it has
truly already changed our lives."
James and Amy wed in October 2005. The singer's third
album, Shake What God Gave Ya, hits stores Sept. 14.

George Michael facing prison over DUI crash...
A judge in London has warned George Michael he is facing a
possible prison term when he is sentenced on DUI and drug
possession charges next month.
The pop superstar was arrested in July after crashing his
car into a shop near his home in Hampstead, north London.
He appeared in court in the British capital on Tuesday and
the judge heard how the singer was found slumped over the
wheel of his Range Rover and didn't even realize he had
been in an accident. The police officer who roused him
claimed the star appeared confused and "spaced out."
George pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis and driving
under the influence of drugs, and will return to court
in September to hear his sentence.
District Judge Robin McPhee handed George an interim six-
month driving ban and warned the star he is facing prison
over the incident. McPhee insisted he will take into
consideration George's previous 2007 conviction for
driving while unfit which landed him a two-year road ban,
as well as claims he was prescribed sleeping pills in the
weeks before the crash.
He told George, "I make it clear the options in respect
of sentence remain open, including the power to imprison.
"It is a serious matter. Your driving was extremely poor
and there was an accident. There is also a conviction
from three years ago."
George was released on bail and will return to court to
face sentencing on September 14.

Katie Holmes Could See Double with Adam Sandler...
Continuing her return to Hollywood after a break from acting,
Kate Holmes is reportedly in talks to star in an unwelcome-
house-guest comedy called Jack and Jill with Adam Sandler
and Al Pacino.
The movie is about a twin brother and sister, both played by
Adam. The sister arrives at the brother's house for
Thanksgiving in L.A. but then won't leave, causing a comical
strain on the brother and his family.
Katie is being courted to play the brother's wife, while Al
would play himself.
Earlier this summer, Adam told Cinema Blend that the dual
role as brother and sister had become a bit of an obsession
for his 4-year-old daughter Sadie, thanks to a mockup of
Adam as a woman that was in their house.
Of the movie's plot, he said: "The man version of me is doing
okay. He has a family out in L.A. The twin-sister version of
me lives out in the Bronx and comes out to L.A. for
Thanksgiving and then refuses to leave and is spoiling the
man version of [me's] family life a little bit."
For Katie, this Columbia release would be her first major-
studio picture since 2005's Batman Begins. She did appear
in the low-budget Mad Money in 2008, has shot several indie
movies and is currently filming the History Channel
miniseries The Kennedys, playing Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

The "Heroes" actress reached the landmark age on Saturday
and was treated to a quirky bash, organized by her
"Scream 4" co-star David Arquette who hired out the four-
story Cavern Club venue in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The actor filled the party with performers from Vaudeville-
inspired comedy show "Beacher's Madhouse" and presented
the star with a specially designed 3D dolphin cake, to
celebrate Panettiere's love of the sea creatures.
