Here's the Scoop....

It was fun while it lasted!

Kim Kardashian and model Gabriel Aubry had a fast romance:
A Lakers game, quiet nights at home and bonding over family,
but the two have already gone their separate ways.

"They still talk," says a source close to the duo. "They
were getting to know each other, but realized they might
be better off just being friendly."

Kim, who has made no secret of her fun and flirty outlook
and single status, was ready to move on and get back into
the dating game.

In fact, she's been seeing New Jersey Nets player Kris
Humphries "for a while now," says the source of Kim and
the 25-year-old forward. "Kim was dating, seeing a few
guys and Gabriel and Kris were both of the guys. She is
single after all!"

So what is it about the basketball star that Kim likes?
"They get along so well," says another source. "They've
been taking it slow but they have so much fun together."

The pair were spotted kissing and holding hands in Hoboken,
New Jersey over the weekend.

'Dead' Celebs Back on Twitter After Raising $1 Million...

They're back online!

After signing off Facebook and Twitter for a week as part of
the so-called "Digital Death" charity campaign, celebrities
including Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga and Kim Kardashian are
returning to social networking, having met their fund-
raising goal of $1 million for AIDS charity Keep a Child
Alive.

The public and the stars involved in the campaign donated half
a million dollars, while pharma billionaire and noted
philanthropist Stewart Rahr on Tuesday offered to match that
amount.

"From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all of the fans,
friends and artists who stood together for this cause and
saved real lives," Keys, one of Keep a Child Alive's founders,
said in a statement. "I am humbled by the outpouring of
support from everyone."

The fund-raising milestone will be good news for Usher, who
was supposed to be part of the campaign ? but Tweeted several
messages over the weekend, including a birthday note to
songwriter/producer Rico Love.

Elizabeth Edwards Dies...

Elizabeth Edwards, a political wife whose personal dramas,
including her husband's infidelity and her six-year
battle against breast cancer, were played out on a public
stage, died from the disease Tuesday. She was 61.

"Today we have lost the comfort of Elizabeth's presence
but she remains the heart of this family," the Edwards
family says in a statement. "We love her and will never
know anyone more inspiring or full of life."

She died at her home in Chapel Hill, N.C., surrounded by
her family.

"On behalf of Elizabeth we want to express our gratitude
to the thousands of kindred spirits who moved and inspired
her along the way," the statement adds. "Your support and
prayers touched our entire family."

On Dec. 6, 2010, it was announced that her doctors decided
that further treatment for her breast cancer would be
unproductive and that she only had a short time left to
live.

That same day, on her Facebook page, Elizabeth thanked
supporters and wrote, "The days of our lives, for all
of us, are numbered. We know that. And yes, there are
certainly times when we aren't able to muster as much
strength and patience as we would like. It's called
being human."

First diagnosed with cancer in 2004, Elizabeth went into
remission until the 2008 presidential campaign.

As she wrote on the day it was announced she would stop
having treatment, "I have found that in the simple act
of living with hope, and in the daily effort to have a
positive impact in the world, the days I do have are
made all the more meaningful and precious. And for that
I am grateful."

Underwood, Lady Antebellum Win Big at New Country Awards...

The "Year of the Lady" continued in country music with Carrie
Underwood and Lady Antebellum cleaning up in Las Vegas Monday
at the first-ever American Country Awards.

Like she did at the Academy of Country Music Awards in April,
Carrie took home the biggest award of the night, claiming
Artist of the Year, as well as Album of the Year, Female
Single of the Year, Touring Headline Package of the Year and
Female Music Video of the Year. Crossover stars Lady
Antebellum, meanwhile, took home Group of the Year honors,
as well as Group Video of the Year, Group Single of the Year.

"Don't be surprised if we don't show up next year, because
we want to go out on top," Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott
joked after the show.

The awards show was based solely on fan voting, something
old hat for Carrie, 27, considering her rise to stardom on
American Idol. "My whole career has been fan voted, pretty
much," she said.

Blake Shelton took home two awards for his Hillbilly Bone
video. Other winners included Corbin (Breakthrough Artist
of the Year), Turner (Male Single of the Year), Alan Jackson
(Greatest Hits Award) and Rascal Flatts (Decade Award).

friend. But listen, she's got moves you wouldn't believe? Her
arms are stiff, but the hips? Totally flexible." ? William

*-*-* GUESS WHO *-*-*-

This star, who just turned 50, stood up fearlessly in front

It's Kathy Griffin...

And, boy, did she work for that bod.

Kathy, who was entertaining the troops as host of Sunday's
VH1 Divas Salute The Troops at the Miramar Marine base in
San Diego, says her killer abs didn't come easy.

"First of all, I work a lot," Kathy says. "Running around
onstage making fun of celebrities is a workout in itself!"

But it takes a bit more to maintain her figure, she admits.

"Second, I 'werk!' At 50, my body can't handle the junk
food or sporadic work outs like when in was younger,"
she says. "I eat much healthier. I work out with a trainer
& hike or jog a few times a week."
