Here's the Scoop...

Charlize Theron has been a big contributor to entertainment news, and nooz, lately. She's talked about her past relationship with Sean Pean, she's got that unnecessary prequel to that bad Snow White movie, 'The Huntsman: Winter's War', coming out and stories about her working relationship with Tom Hardy during the 'Mad Max: Fury Road' shoot.

Today, we have two stories about Ms. Theron. First, Charlize will star in the newest Fast and the Furious installment, Fast 8. Really? Apparently, Universal Pictures confirmed the 40-year-old actress' casting on the movie's official Facebook page after news outlets reported Theron will play a villain in the sequel Thursday. Why? She's not hurting for work.

The second story is located just nine lines below this one. Too much Charlize to handle! Celebrity Nooz is at full Theron capacity. Enjoy!

Be Well,
Steve

Charlize Theron: 'Women wilt, men age like fine wine'
Charlize Theron is taking on the Hollywood taboo subject of aging, saying women have "accepted" unfair standards for too long.

Speaking with GQ magazine for its May issue, the Mad Max: Fury Road actress stated: "We live in a society where women wilt and men age like fine wine. And for a long time, women accepted it."

"We were waiting for society to change, but now we're taking leadership," she continued. "It would be a lie to say there is less to worry for women as they get older than there is for men...it feels there's this unrealistic standard of what a woman is supposed to look like when she's over 40."

The Hollywood beauty, 40, also challenged a general assumption that it's easier for beautiful people to get meaningful work in the acting industry.

"Jobs with real gravitas go to people that are physically right for them and that's the end of the story," she said. "How many roles are out there for the gorgeous, [expletive], gown-wearing eight-foot model? When meaty roles come through, I've been in the room and pretty people get turned away first."

Theron, who previously dated actor Sean Penn, most recently discussed rumors she dropped Penn without contacting him ahead of their 2015 split. She denied "ghosting" the actor during an interview with The Wall Street Journal earlier this month.

"There is this need to sensationalize things," Theron explained. "When you leave a relationship there has to be some [expletive] crazy story or some crazy drama. And the [expletive] ghosting thing, like literally I still don't even know what it is."

'Galaxy Quest 2' foiled by Alan Rickman's death, says Sam Rockwell
Sam Rockwell says Amazon was working to reunite the original Galaxy Quest cast for a sequel before Alan Rickman's death earlier this year.

During an interview on the Nerdist podcast, Rockwell said most of the original stars were ready to sign a deal that would jumpstart the production, but Rickman's death and other internal issues kept it from happening.

"We were ready to sign up, and Alan Rickman passed away and Tim Allen wasn't available -- he has a show -- and everybody's schedule was all weird. It was going to shoot, like, right now," Rockwell divulged. "And how do you fill that void of Alan Rickman? That's a hard void to fill."

Galaxy Quest was a comedy film released in 1999 spoofing the famous sci-fi genre at the time. Rickman played Alexander Dane in the film, complete with alien makeup.

Rickman went on to starring roles in such films as Harry Potter, Love, Actually and Eye in the Sky before his Jan. 14 death. He will next be heard as the voice of the caterpillar in Alice Through The Looking Glass.

Which actress detailed her 'painful' bee sting beauty treatment?

Gwyneth Paltrow keeps an open mind when it comes to beauty treatments.

The 43-year-old actress revealed she's tried apitherapy, or being stung by bees, while detailing her various beauty regimens in an interview with the New York Times.

"Generally, I'm open to anything," Paltrow said. "I've been stung by bees. It's a thousands of years old treatment called apitherapy. People use it to get rid of inflammation and scarring. It's actually pretty incredible if you research it. But man, it's painful."

"I'm always the guinea pig to try everything. I've got to try them all. I love acupuncture," she previously explained. "I haven't done cryotherapy yet, but I do want to try that."

Paltrow shared her love for "serums and face oils and body oils," including Tammy Fender body oil, and recommended Tata Harper and RMS cosmetics. The actress said she "generally" doesn't wear much makeup, "just mascara and a little cheek."

"I don't use bronzer," she revealed. "[My 11-year-old daughter Apple] loves experimenting. I obviously don't let her out of the house with a full face. But I think she's going to be way more into beauty than I am."

Paltrow launched her own beauty line in collaboration with Juice Beauty in January. The collection includes dozens of face, eye and lip products made of organic ingredients, including berries, flowers, fruits and vegetables.

"Karen [Behnke], who's the founder of Juice ... [and I] both had strong feelings about having incredibly high-performing, beautiful makeup that was also nontoxic," the actress said at the time.

Paltrow also continues to oversee her lifestyle site, Goop, which launched in 2008. She last appeared in Mortdecai with Johnny Depp and will next star in Captain America: Civil War with Chris Evans and Robert Downey, Jr.
