Hello Everyone,Click to read about our staff

I use this trick all the time on my stove...not only was
surprised at how well it work, but it saves on my pocketbook now that I don't buy those expensive cleaners.

No oven cleaner on hand? No fret, just make a paste with
baking soda and water. It will grab hold of food and grease
particles and lift them up and away. Let it sit for an hour
on small spills, overnight for baked on ones. Then wipe away
the grime with a wet sponge. And on top of being a killer
cleaner baking soda also neutralizes odors.

Hint 1: Does anyone do this with their laundry?

Try replacing fabric softener with 3/4 cup of white distilled vinegar (add at to washing machine during the final rinse cycle). Why you ask? The vinegar works by removing residues left behind on the clothes, as well as relaxing fibers.

Don't be worried about your clothes smelling like vinegar, once the laundry has dried, the smell will be long gone. And since fabric softener products leave a thin layer of lubricant that makes clothes take longer to dry, your clothes and linens will dry faster.

** Obviously don't try this on dry-clean-only fabrics **

Hint 2: Sweeten the air in your home with this cheap trick

Scented candles and air fresheners can be pricey if you don't catch them on sale, and most of them contain as many as 10 hazardous compounds.

Boil a pan of water, add a cinnamon stick and let it simmer on the stove. The scent will linger throughout the whole house. If you are looking for more of a citrus scent, toss in some orange or lemon rinds.
