Hello Animal Lovers,

Heres something a little more informative than cute - have you heard of the stoat? Its a small, meat eating rodent that takes down prey many times its own size!

Yeah its cute, but you have to admire that tenacity more than anything else. They jump and scamper about but then stalk and chase their food during real hunts. The key to hunting larger animals like rabbits lies in wearing them down with their superior stamina.

This footage comes from BBCs Life documentary series, and it may not be for the faint of heart. The last 30 seconds of the video features a live kill of a rabbit, so feel free to turn it off before then.
