I've been waiting for these silicone ice pop molds come in
stock and couldn't wait to use them. I love making the kids
popsicles with their favorite juices and yogurts and these
no-mess silicone molds have actually caused me to kick out
my old school stick style ones (I lose those little parts anyway).
The size and shape of these ones are so convenient and easy
to clean by just popping in the dishwasher that I'm doing up
healthy Kefir smoothies like there's no tomorrow. I'm liking

You can make some apple-licious smoothies by just combing
1/2 applesauce with 1/2 vanilla yogurt plus a little apple
juice to your liking. To make your mornings even easier do
like the B&B's do and prep a casserole the night before.
This one is quick and you can just take it out of the fridge
for a bit when you wake and pop oven when you turn on your
coffee pot. Tweak the ingredients to your family's tastes
with whatever you've got on hand we've even eaten this for
dinner.

RECIPE: SAUSAGE HASH BROWN BREAKFAST CASSEROLE

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

INGREDIENTS:
1 pound of breakfast sausage, cooked and drained
9 eggs
3 c milk
1 ts ground mustard
1 ts salt
1/2 ts pepper
2 packages (20 oz) frozen hash browns, thawed
16 oz shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 c diced sweet red pepper
1/3 c diced green onions (optional)

DIRECTIONS:
Combine eggs, milk, mustard, salt and pepper in a bowl.
Add the hash browns, sausage, cheese, sweet pepper, and
onions. Mix well and pour into a greased 13 X 9 inch pan.
Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove from refrigerator
30 minutes before cooking. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees
for 65-70 minutes or until set and golden brown. Let stand
10 minutes before serving.

YUMMY ZUCCHINI MUFFINS RECIPE

2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. ginger
1/8 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups grated zucchini
1 apple peeled, cored and grated
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1/2 cup oil (vegetable or canola)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl combine
first 8 ingredients. Add the zucchini and apple. In a
separate bowl beat together the last 4 ingredients. Stir
into the flour mixture until batter is just combined, do
not overmix. Spoon into well greased muffin cups, filling
to the top and bake for 20 minutes.
