Here's the Scoop....

Anne Hathaway has responded to critics who blasted an early photo of her as Batman's nemesis Catwoman, promising fans will be thrilled when they see her in action on the big screen.

Warner Bros. bosses released a publicity shot of the actress as the feline fatale in "The Dark Knight Rises" last week and a number of bloggers expressed disappointment over the picture, which depicts the star riding a motorcycle in her Catwoman costume.

Anne admits she read the critics' first impressions and complaints, but insists audiences will be wowed when they see her play the supervillain.

She tells MTV, "I was not going to admit it: I asked someone to send me a few reactions. And I happen to know that MTV's reaction was 'meh.'

"What I am happy to say is, if you didn't like the photo, you only see about a 10th of what that suit can do. And if you did like the photo, you have excellent taste."

Now, let's get to the rest of the nooz...

'Dirty Dancing' remake in the works...

"Dirty Dancing" is set for a big screen revamp, with the original movie's choreographer taking on the role of director.

Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey became household names after starring in the 1987 hit, which tells the story of dance instructor Johnny Castle and his unlikely partner Frances "Baby" Houseman.

He says, "Patrick Swayze set the bar for men dancing in the movies as Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire did before him. believe everywhere you look there is evidence that the talent is out there and I can't wait to begin the process of discovering the next breakout triple-threats."

And the original Baby, Jennifer Grey, is ecstatic her breakthrough role will be re-imagined for a new generation of fans, insisting, "I'm so excited about this news, and I think there's nobody better to do this than my beloved Kenny Ortega, who is as responsible as anyone for the success of the first one. I can't wait to see what he's going to do with it."

It's Keith Urban...

Phoenix will hit stores later this year.

Keith says, "I grew up with a father that had great taste in music, cars and colognes. So the idea to eventually create my own fragrance seemed natural.

"I've always loved the feeling that comes from finding the right scent and the way it can say so much about a person. We created Phoenix to express just the right blend of masculinity, mystery and sensuality."

The cologne will feature hints of blackberries, cognac, plum, dark chocolate and "a finish of warm cashmere wood."
