Demi Lovato and John Mayer spark dating rumors
Demi Lovato and John Mayer sparked romance rumors over the weekend.

The 24-year-old pop star and 39-year-old singer-songwriter were spotted getting close at Catch L.A. restaurant Saturday in West Hollywood, according to Us Weekly.

Sources told the magazine Lovato and Mayer arrived at and left the establishment separately but appeared to hit it off inside. The pair reportedly "chatted it up for over an hour."

"John had his arm around Demi and was whispering sweet nothings into her ear. She was into it. They weren't making out or anything, but she was giggling the whole time," an insider said.

Lovato and Meyer collaborated on music in 2009 after Meyer complimented Lovato's song "La La Land" on Twitter. The pop star couldn't help but gush about the "Your Body is a Wonderland" singer in a subsequent interview with MTV News.

"John Mayer's been a huge influence on me. His songwriting really inspires me," she said. I guess he had heard I was a huge fan, and he sent me a letter. Then we ended up writing together ... It was like a dream come true."

The sighting comes nearly five months after Lovato's split from actor Wilmer Valderrama. The couple broke up in June after six years of dating, and Lovato told Elvis Duran and the Morning Show the next month that she's feeling "free."

"I feel really amazing," she said at the time. "I feel really great and I'm growing. My life is just really, really exciting for me because I'm growing. It's new and fresh, and I feel free."

Prince's Paisley Park approved by city to become a museum
After months of work, Prince's home and recording studio officially became a tourist destination on Monday.

Prince's Paisley Park was unanimously approved by the Chanhassen City Council for rezoning after city commissioners and representatives of his estate worked out the logistics of making it a permanent museum.

More than 12,000 people have already toured the 65,000-square-foot facility, which Prince used as a production studio, concert and party venue and home -- about 600,000 people are expected to visit the museum each year.

"I think the city was very thoughtful in what they did," said Joel Weinshanker, managing partner of Graceland Holdings, which is running the museum for Prince's estate. "Prince's museum is going to outlive us all."

Tours of Paisley Park include Prince's recording and mixing studios, video editing suite, rehearsal rooms and private concert hall where he hosted occasional events and shows.

Handwritten notes Prince made while recording a not-yet-released jazz album, awards, instruments, outfits and other artwork are also on display in many rooms included on the tour.

The Bremer Trust, which manages Prince's estate, had been granted a series of temporary permits for months as they gave limited tours of the compound.

The city is closing a nearby road to limit pedestrian traffic and installing a median to prevent left-hand turns into Paisley Park, and intends to conduct additional traffic studies on the area as people start visiting the museum.

Tickets are already on sale to tour Paisley Park through the end of the year and will go on sale for tours in 2017 in mid-November.

Britney Spears performed through a major wardrobe malfunction Saturday in Las Vegas.

The 34-year-old singer continued to sing and dance after her top came undone during her Piece of Me residency show at The Axis at Planet Hollywood, as seen in a fan video.

Spears was performing "I Love Rock and Roll" when a strap on her bondage-inspired bra unhooked. Backup dancers came to her aid, but she was forced to hold the top in place after it came undone a second time.

The star reemerged for "Gimme More" with a short denim vest over the bra, but the top came undone once again. A dancer gave her the shirt off his back, which she quickly buttoned up mid-song.

Spears sang and danced through a similar incident during a show in October 2015. She was performing "3" when the back of her bodysuit came completely unzipped, and had to run offstage after the song.

The "Make Me..." singer last released the album Glory in August. She opened up about her dating life on The Jonathan Ross Show in early October, saying she's perfectly happy with being single.

"A lot of men are about games," the star said. "It's just the mind game with guys -- the calling back and texting -- it's just too much, it's silly. Actually, I'm not looking for men right now. I'm really happy with myself. I'm not looking for anything."

"I [do] like someone that's just nice overall. Just a nice guy really is groundbreaking in this world," she added.

Spears shares two sons, 11-year-old Preston and 10-year-old Jayden, with ex-husband Kevin Federline. She admitted on Lorraine in September that she's "nervous" for her kids to become teenagers.
