Kenan Thompson leaving 'SNL' after upcoming seasonKenan Thompson is leaving Saturday Night Live after the show's upcoming 40th season. TMZ reports the 36-year-old comedian is reportedly in talks to star in a new show and plans to move to Los Angeles with his wife and daughter. Thompson has starred on the late night comedy series since 2003, making him the most tenured African-American cast member on the show. He reportedly wanted to leave SNL after last season, but was persuaded to stay on by series creator Lorne Michaels. News of Thompson's departure comes weeks after it was announced that former cast member Darrell Hammond will return to show as announcer following the death of longtime announcer Don Pardo in August. NBC also announced last month that comedian Michael Che would replace Cecily Strong as co-anchor for "Weekend Update" in the upcoming season of the show. Strong took over the news segment alongside writer Colin Jost after Seth Meyers left the show one year ago. SNL returns to the small screen for its 40th season on Sept. 27 with Chris Pratt as host and Ariana Grande as musical guest.
Robert Pattinson, FKA Twigs seen holding hands amid dating rumorsRobert Pattinson and FKA Twigs appear to have confirmed their relationship.
The 28-year-old actor and 26-year-old singer were spotted holding hands and cuddling up in Venice Beach on Sunday. The pair were first seen together in New York in August, and have declined to address the dating rumors. "I think that I like to keep my personal life personal," FKA Twigs, real name Tahliah Barnett, told The Mirror earlier this month. It's the real deal between Rob and Tahliah," a source previously told The Sun. "They had been able to keep their relationship secret until recently, but they're already smitten. He's been taking her on dates for the last month or so, and has even flown her out to stay with him in New York. He also loves going to her gigs." "The main thing for Tahliah is that the relationship remains low key," the insider continued. "She wants to be known for her music, not just as Robert Pattinson's girlfriend. She's worried about being bogged down by constant comparisons to Kristen [Stewart]." Pattinson and Stewart met on the set of Twilight in 2008, and were together for four years. The relationship ended after photos surfaced of the actress kissing then-married director Rupert Sanders in July 2012.

Paula Deen sets first television interview since June 2013 on 'Today'Embattled celebrity chef and author Paula Deen has been booked as a guest on Tuesday's edition of Today, NBC announced. "This is Deen's first television interview since her last tearful visit to Today in June 2013, after the scandal that rocked her empire. Deen will discuss what she has learned since then, what has changed, and what's next for her," the network said in a news release Monday.
ABC also announced Deen will appear on its Friday episode of The Chew during a segment called "Down Home Delights." The show will include an appearance by country music duo Big & Rich. Deen, 67, admitted in a 2013 deposition she used a racial slur in reference to an African-American man who robbed her at gunpoint decades ago, and when pressed, admitted she had used the word in other contexts, though it had been a "very long time." The confession sparked a media firestorm and, although Deen apologized for her behavior and insisted she is not a racist, she was fired by the Food Network and lost numerous product endorsement deals. She since has been working to revitalize her brand, however, particularly with the online Paula Deen Network.
Katie Holmes addresses possible 'Dawson's Creek' reunionKatie Holmes revealed in an interview last week she thinks it's "super flattering" that fans of her late '90s series Dawson's Creek would like to see the main cast reunite. "I think that show touched a certain generation," Holmes told Gossip Cop. "It was innocent at a time when innocence was very valued and present. But it had that teen angst that really revealed what everybody was going through." The 35-year-old actress played the doe-eye character Joey Potter on the show from 1998 through 2003. Asked if she knows why fans are so keen to seeing her reprise the role, Holmes said, "maybe we all want to feel those feelings again."
Holmes has gone on to star to star in several major pictures after the WB show ended including Chris Nolan's Batman Begins in 2005. Her comments regarding Dawson's came days before Netflix removed the show from its instant streaming list on Friday. The actress and her 8-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise, recently moved from New York to Los Angles so Holmes could revamp her acting career. She will next star in the upcoming films Miss Meadows, Mania Days and Woman in Gold.

It's Taylor Swift... Taylor Swift tops People magazine's 'Best Dressed' celebrity list
Taylor Swift was named People magazine's best dressed celebrity of 2014. The magazine rounded up the 11 most stylish celebrities of the year for its Best Dressed feature and cited the country star's impeccable on-and-off red carpet looks as the reason for her place in the No. 1 spot. "She's got great style," Swift's close friend supermodel Karlie Kloss told the magazine. "I need to take some notes from her!" Former Gossip Girl star Blake Lively came in second place. The 27-year-old actress is often credited with being one of the most fashionable celebrities out there and is famous for styling herself. "I think the best thing to do is whatever makes you feel most comfortable, the most confident," Lively told people. Diane Kruger, who also doesn't use a stylist, came in third place, and was followed by the daring Jennifer Lopez and Emma Stone. Lupita Nyong'o, Jessica Alba, Rihanna, Emma Watson, Chloe Grace Moretz and Kiernan Shipka rounded out the 11 spots on the list.
