Saturday, February 25, 2012Hello Everyone...
So out of nowhere, I had myself a bit of a Bowie-week. I listened to hours of the best David Bowie had to offer, read a few articles on and offline, and learned about an artist that just never really came up for me. The most exposure I had of Bowie was from his cameo in The Prestige and Labyrinth. I can't quite say I'm a huge fan of his music yet, but some of his stuff blew me away, like Rebel Rebel, Life on Mars, and The Man Who Sold The World.
I learned something interesting about the latter - after hearing Nirvana's cover on their Unplugged set, he often adapted his own live performances with some of their elements. I found this awesome footage from a live concert in 2000. Whose version do you prefer?
