THE DAILY GROANER - Monday, Dec. 17th 2012

Good Morning Groanies,

This weekend Stacy and I finally finished addressing our Christmas cards to all the people we want to show off our kid to this joyous holiday season (don't pretend like you've never done that).

Stacy noticed a funny thing - some street names are really weird. You have your classics - Maple Drive, Lilac Lane, Elm Street, etc., but you also have some really odd choices such as Locust Street, Whisper Way, and Old Barn Road.

Although after you start thinking about them, some do have their merits. I mean how great would it be to refer to that mad old neighbor on your block as that mad old cow on Old Barn Road? Or if your neighbors are throwing a party and you ask them to be quiet because it's Whisper Way after all.

I know that my wife and I can't be the only ones who think of stuff like this. If you've crossed a street that made you giggle or scratch your noodle, send me an email and let me know what weird roads you have traveled.
