Good Morning Groanies,
The Halloween weekend was great for Stacy and me. We gave
candy to trick-or-treaters, we watched three very scary
movies, and then went to bed with the lights on.
We watched three awesome horror movies that Stacy had never
seen before. I was hoping that it would freak her out a
little... and it did. First, we watched "John Carpenter's
The Thing", one of my personal favorites. Next, we watched
the chilling haunted house classic "The Changeling" with
George C. Scott. I highly suggest you check it out. We
finished things up with one of the most underrated horror
sequels of all-time, "The Exorcist III". It also starred
George C. Scott. I think that one was probably the
scariest, at least for me.
After this all night fright fest Stacy was really scared
and so was I. I hadn't seen any of those movies in a long
time and because of that they really got to me.
Here's what Stacy told me she learned about our Halloween
this year.
1. You have good taste in horror movies.
2. You slept with the covers over your head all night.
3. George C. Scott is bad ass!
Well, I think it is safe to say that she's two for three
with her conclusions.
