Good Morning Groanies,
Well, I'm back from my vacation. Stacy and I spent a few
days on the island of Aruba. It was a lot of fun and very
relaxing. And thanks to this much needed getaway I find
myself rich with material for future columns. Oh, Yes!
I'll start us off with this...
While on Aruba, Stacy and I noticed that just about every
vacationing couple had a child with them. The child was
on average between 1 to 3 years old. Maybe we didn't do
our homework, but we didn't figure Aruba would be a destin-
ation that youngsters would enjoy, unless they like to
snorkel, drink and gamble.
Then I came up with a theory. Apparently, the parents of
these children had to bring them back to the place where
they were conceived, which is weird and creepy... and
probably a European thing. Does anyone have a line on
that?
On a relaxing resort type of vacation usually the parents
will leave the kids with grandma and grandpa, right? We
must have missed something. It just felt very odd to see
three year olds sunbathing, throwing back a few drunken
sailors, and chartering a boat for some deep sea fishing.
Our hotel was nice though.

A research group on sea mammals captured a rather odd
porpoise on one of its trips. Its peculiarity was that
it had feet. After they had photographed and measured
the poor thing, they prepared to set it free.
"Wait a minute," said one of the researchers, "Wouldn't
