Good Morning Groanies,
I was out doing a bit of Christmas shopping when I
remembered that I needed to get a Christmas card for
Stacy, my wonderful wife.
As I searched for that special card which contained that
perfect holiday message of love, devotion and thoughtful-
ness I noticed that about 90% of the cards were addressed
with the following:
1. My Lovely Wife...
2. My Beautiful Wife...
3. My Generous Wife...
4. My Caring Wife...
5. My One, My Wife...
I thought of three things. First, which one do I get for
Stacy? Second, I wonder which one would Tiger Woods get
for his wife? And then, I suddenly began to think, we
always give cards that have positive messages for those we
love and have close meaningful relationships with, but what
about greeting cards that were strictly for those butt-
puppets that you have to deal with in your life. You know,
siblings, relatives, co-workers, friends, politicians, that
kid that told everyone in the sixth grade that you still
wet the bed... and the list goes on.
I bet you those D-Bags that we gave those cards to wouldn't
even get it. They would probably think it was a joke. Which
would make you want to get them another one.
Now, getting back to my point, I did get what I needed.
Stacy will receive a Christmas card that will have a
handwritten message inside, from me, telling her that
she's is everything to me. She's lovely, beautiful,
caring, generous, and my one. That's why I had to buy
a blank card and write a message inside because they
don't make a card that says all of that.
