THE DAILY GROANER - Monday, October 29th 2012

Good Morning Groanies,

As you may recall, my wife is a high school teacher. I honestly don't know how she puts up with their teenage insanity. All I do know is that I couldn't do it, but I digress...

Last Friday, Stacy's students were asking her what she was going to be up to over the weekend. She told them that we were going to bring Jack to his grandparent's house for some Halloween fun - and by fun I mean some good old fashioned trick-or-treating.

Once the students heard this, the questions began. "Your son is too young for trick-or-treating, right?" "I thought trick-or-treating was only on Wednesday?" and "Why does he get candy early?"

When she told me this, I couldn't believe my ears. Who do these punks think they are - the candy police? What do they think that Jack is going to be so cute that the entire free world will give all of its candy only to him? Well, he is that cute, so deal with it you calculus failing, pimple poppers. Why don't you get a job and buy your own damn candy? You're all too old for trick-or-treating anyway... okay, I need to stop. Although, I do have an idea for a costume now - I'll go as a crotchety old man. Get off my lawn you whipper-snappers!
