Who Won Dancing with the Stars???
With a season full of surprises and shocking eliminations, it's
no mystery that Tuesday's finale of Dancing with the Stars was
a nail-biter, right down to the last remaining minutes of the
telecast.
As consistently low-scoring Bristol Palin advanced ahead of
stronger dancers like Audrina Patridge and Brandy, fans and
the media argued about whether Dancing had lost its credibility.
Bristol held her own on Monday night's performance show against
the season's most dynamic performer, actress Jennifer Grey, and
charismatic actor Kyle Massey. Still, Bristol received the
lowest scores.
Did Bristol's fans vote in droves to ensure she takes the Season
11 mirror-ball trophy home to Alaska? Or did America truly vote
for the best dancer, which, depending on whom you ask, is either
Jennifer or Kyle?
It's Jennifer!
The audience cheered and the actress broke into tears as her
professional partner, Derek Hough, jumped up and and down.
This is the third win for Derek, who also had victories with
Nicole Scherzinger and Brooke Burke.
Jennifer, 50, endured health problems throughout the competition
and on Tuesday night danced through pain from a slipped disc.
Kyle, 19, came in second place, and Bristol's amazing run ended.
The 20-year-old daughter of Sarah Palin had a third-place finish.

John Travolta and Kelly Preston Welcome a Son...
John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston are parents to son Benjamin,
who was born Tuesday in a Florida hospital.
The baby weighed 8 lbs., 3 oz.
"John, Kelly and their daughter Ella Bleu are ecstatic and very
happy about the newest member of the family," they say in a
statement. "Both mother and baby are healthy and doing
beautifully."
Kelly, 48, said recently that the entire family was in major
preparation mode for their new addition as her pregnancy neared
its end.
"I've been cleaning out everything in the house," Kelly said in
September. "Ella has been helping too. She's looking forward to
being a big sister."
John, 56, and Kelly's son Jett suffered a fatal seizure at age
16 in January 2009.

George Lopez's Wife Files for Divorce...
They announced their split two months ago, and now they're making
it official: George Lopez's wife Ann filed for divorce in Los
Angeles Superior Court.
Citing irreconcilable differences, Ann Serrano Lopez is seeking
spousal support and primary custody of their daughter, Mayan,
14, with visitation for George, according to the petition filed
Tuesday.
The couple had been married for more than 17 years.
In 2005, Ann famously donated her kidney to her husband. Crediting
her for giving him life, George, 49, said at the time, "I can't
pay her back, but what I can do is make her as happy as she thought
I would when we first got married."

Emmy Rossum and Adam Duritz Have Split Up...
Emmy Rossum has revealed she and Counting Crows frontman Adam
Duritz split up two months ago but says they remain on good
terms.
"We're still very close friends," Emmy, 24, comments.
The two were first linked in the fall of 2009 after they'd been
spotted together multiple times. As a couple they remained
relatively quiet, but Rossum did reveal she originally met
Adam, 46, through Twitter.
Emmy, who says she's single, split from her then-husband Justin
Siegel in August 2009.
Next up for Emmy: her new Showtime series, Shameless, which
begins in January. Says Emmy: "This is happiest I've ever been
in my whole life."

This singer/actress is having a Vegan-Friendly Thanksgiving...
It's Jessica Simpson...
This Thanksgiving will be full of firsts for Jessica Simpson:
her first with fiancé Eric Johnson, her first in New York,
and her first with a tofu turkey.
"After getting out of the NFL, [Eric] went to this healer and
is very healthy," Jessica, 30, told Jimmy Fallon of her vegan
husband-to-be. "For Thanksgiving we have to make a Tofurkey!
It doesn't sound right! It's gonna be jiggly and weird."
And while Jessica, who just released her Christmas album,
acknowledges that "when [Eric] cooks vegan, it's good," she
also admits that she comes from a very different background.
"I'm from Texas ? I'd fry a steak," she laughed. "We eat all
casseroles and giblets!"
